!! Sitting backstage in his locker room, was AJ Ryder... watching on, with a focused look on his face, as he re-watched what had transpired in the ring with the whole Primo’s Army and the others who wished to take them on... He was mostly interested in the bounty part of it all... As soon as he heard Primo mention his bounty being put out on Genesis and Chris Lionheart. He rubs his hands together as a smirk appeared on his face. He turned off the tape and closed his tv, as he walked out in the hallways of the arena, where many superstars where walking by.
He scratched his chin, as he began to walk down the hall. He had his sights focused on speaking with one man... He continued to walk backstage, before arriving close to the entrance area, where there he stood. He walked forward, and put a focused look on his face... sure this man may have not seen him before, but he had to act professional and make a good impression. He placed the water bottle he was carrying in his right hand, down on a table as he spoke.
“Ah, Mr. Primo sir, just the man I’ve been looking for...”
He approached Primo, having somewhat of a grin/smile on his face as he stood there, awaiting his response. !! |

Primo turns to him and responds.

He leaves it open for the man to introduce himself.

!! “AJ Ryder...”
AJ extends his hand to Primo as he continues to speak.
“How can you help me? No, no Mr. Primo... the question is, how can I help you? You see, I heard of this bounty out on Chris Lionheart and Genesis you placed out there earlier, and it would be my pleasure sir, to take one of them off of your hands.”
AJ smirks as he stands with his right hand extended, and his left hand in his pocket. !! |

The bounty. He knew it would be an interesting tactical ploy, but he had no idea it would works so effectively. Hearing the sentiments of Genesis in his previous appearances during the show, it seemed almost fitting who to set the newcomer on. He shales AJ's hand and responds.
If that's the case, allow me to point you in the direction of that fool Genesis. A man in need of a rude awakening I think you can provide. You make him suffer, and I'll make you a half a million dollars wealthier.
A simple task if I must say.

!! AJ smirks as he cracks his knuckles. He nods along as Primo speaks, and crosses both of his arms.
“Ah, how bigger of an impact can you make on your debut, than by defeating one of the bigger names in the industry... Genesis. And a half a million dollars? That’s a bonus... After TakeDown, you won’t have to worry about Mr. Genesis anymore sir...” !! |

Primo cracks a small, but noticeable smile as he answers.
Please, no need to call me Mister. I'm not much older then you are. But I will indeed be looking forward to seeing you show my good friend Brandon what true "payne" is. *Hmmmm hmm hmm hmm hmm* Go make it happen.

He passes his hand through his hair as he speaks.
“Tonight... I don’t let you down Primo... *Cracks knuckles.* I do indeed plan, on delivering Payne, to Genesis here tonight. I’ll tell you this right now Primo... I will not let you... nor, your army of men you have backing you down. Tonight we WILL witness, the biggest debut of the year, when I defeat Genesis, and cash in... on half a million dollars!” !! Confidence in your own ability. A commendable attribute. If you do as well as I anticipate, I may even have a spot for you in The Coalition. But time, and your performance tonight will tell. I would wish you luck, but luck is something that those without skill believe in.
Primo gives Ryder and nod, and takes his leave towards his personal dressing room.
