The shows was going along as scheduled, and the evening was shaping up to be a huge event. But the night wasn't complete without the appearance of the now infamous Jeff Heaven. The man who called his shot, and stands for nothing but himself. The fans boo his arrival, especially from his latest promo on the website. Jeff Smirks. He walks down to the ring with a smile on his face, eating up the "ovation" he was being given. Jeff rolls into the ring, and is quickly handed a Mic. He then speaks his 1st words in an XWA ring...

So this is it, eh? XWA Takedown. The season premier. Hmmph. Why the hell am I not surprised? Let's see what's happened so far, shall we? One guy comes out to the ring and spews all kinds of propaganda saying everyone has to "bow down to his greatness"? Wow, real original, buddy. Riveting Television. Then next up, we've got some rich guy talkin' about his friends at the yacht club, and how he's got the money to by this building? And this guy's supposed to be a wrestler? WOW!!! You know something, about the only thing I've heard tonight that actually made sense was the words of Magnus Von Schwatrz. And low and behold who he's gonna be taking on. Afroman himself. Magnus, I hope you break the guy's neck. Do us ALL the solid of taking that circus clown out.

It was clear that Jeff's intent wasn't about making a spectacle like others. It was about making a statement. Jeff looks out to the masses and continues his speech.

Let me not beat around the bush here. I'm lookin' for a fight. Now whether I actually get one since XWA seems to be filled with more guys looking for Oscars then championships remains to be seen. But I'm in this ring, right now, calling out the BADDEST son of a bitch there is backstage. If you're not about doin' the song and dance crap, and looking for an actually challenge, Here I am. The question is, who's man enough? [/font]

The lights in the arena dim a bit, and over the PA plays E.Town Concrete's "Time To Shine". The crowd get on there feet in cheer...

Buzz: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH MAN!!! He called out the baddest son of a bitch in XWA. I think he's gonna get what he asked for!!!

Roach: DAAAAAAAAAAAMN Straight. Here comes THE BIG TICKET.

To the stage steps out Ethan Bain. Last years Rookie of the year, and without question one of the most feared men in the industry. He had a mic in hand, but he opts to stand on the stage for a moment, letting the "BAIN" chants from the crowd rise. He looks down to the ring at Heaven and smirks.

This was better then Jeff hoped for. Not only did he get one of the baddest guys in XWA, he got one of the "Power Players". One of the best young talents. Jeff was all smiles as the "BAIN" chant continued. He brings up his Mic to address the big man.

I asked who was man enough, and I definitely think that you fit the bill. But don't think for one god damn second that I'm intimidated. Not a chance. You're not the 1st giant I've faced. And you sure as hell won't be the 1st one I beat. You might be one of XWA's big names. One of the guys on the marquee. But I'm the guy who's gonna put all you so called "main eventers" to the damn test.

Jeff was steadfast in his response to Bain's arrival. He lowers his Mic awaiting his reply.

Bain motions his free hand to the crowd to taper down a bit, and the loud chants and cheers slowly lower. He bring up his own mic and speaks.

1st and foremost, what's goin' on, New Jersey???

The crowd comes alive again. Ethan smiles as they cheer him on. He motion for them to quiet down some again, and the fans respond. He continues.

Jeff. It seems to me like you've got a chip on your shoulders. I mean, it's one thing not to like a few people. But you? You seem not to like anyone. And, I agree with you in the case of that loud mouth Austin Harris, and that rich boy Loki. What I don't agree with, is that last statement. I don't need YOU to put me to the test. Everyone in this building, watching at home, and everyone in the back knows that Ethan Bain IS THE TEST.

More cheers are given for Bain. He nods slightly and continues on.

I'm not even gonna run off the names of the men I've beaten. Because none of that matters. All that matters is that in 2008, I'm adding names to The Body Count. And in due time, I'm going to have the WORLD Title around my waist. But that's getting ahead of myself. I take my career one battle at a time. And right now, my eyes are on you, Jeff Heaven. You've been a World Champ in every company you've worked in. And I respect that. As far as experience goes, you've got me trumped. But I took on three other guys who had more experience then me last year. Two of 'em I broke in half. So I'm liking my chances against you, tonight.

Ethan smirks as he waist for Jeff's answer.

Jeff would never say it, but he was liking this Bain guy. He was all business. But even so, Jeff backs down to no man, and strays from no fight. He speaks his response to Bain.

You're right. What we've done in the past means nothing in this ring. Because on any given night, any man, a world champion, a rookie, or a no named jabronee can win or lose. But I'm gonna say this straight out. I DON'T like losing. Not because of my ego. Oh no. It's because of what happens after I lose. Because I don't stop until I get my payback. When, and IF you beat me. You better bet your ass that I'm comin' back. And if you beat me that second time, you're indeed the better man. But if not, well...I think you can guess what happens then, eh big man? So are we on, or are we on?

Jeff waits for his reply.

Ethan smirks once again as he responds.

Oh yea. We're on, pal. We're definitely on.

Ethan's music cues over the PA once again. He lowers his Mic and stares down to Heaven as he did at the beginning. He then turns and heads backstage.

Jeff was left in the ring with a satisfied look on his face. The 1st night in and he landed one of the big fish. Beating Bain would get him noticed. Losing to him, wasn't and option. Jeff drops his Mic and leaves the ring. It was time to get his game face one.

Fin
