As the season premiere of Takedown continues it's broadcast, the announce team sends it backstage to Fabiola who stands with her first guest of the new year.
Fabiola: Thank you guys. My guest at this time is one of the XWA's newest talents this year, Magnus Von Schwartz.
The camera pans out from Fabiola to show Magnus stand beside her now dressed in a typical black business suit ensemble with his head held high in confidence.
Fabiola: Magnus, your performance in the preseason was pretty impressive to say the least. Already you have people saying that you have the potential to be pretty successful here in the XWA. What are your thoughts on that?
My thoughts? Very simply stated. It should be to no surprise to anyone that I am one who sets a certain standard among the so-called new blood within the XWA, for there is nothing new about me. I have come here for the sole purpose of exerting my dominance amongst the world of "professional" wrestling. I do not consider myself to be one such as that. I am wrestling, period. Magnus Von Schwartz is not just one out of many you see. I am the spirit of this sport. The very physical embodiment of the art that has been bastardized by the American people.
From his response the crowd in the arena can be heard booing him.
Fabiola: Well, I suppose that you know by now that the XWA is a little different in terms of it's approach to the sport are you not?
No, it is you who are unaware. As I stated in the past, only now can that claim be made, for here and now I stand before you and in my presence you stand before what you will soon know to be the King of Sport. I will make example of all those who dare to challenge me just how inadequate their so-called skill truly is when I exploit their weakness and leave their egos, their pride and their bodies defeated in the center of the ring.
There is one man who I have paid much attention to. A man who more than anyone I have encountered represents what this sport means to your kind. This...Syrus The Entertainer.
The crowd pops when Magnus mentions the man's name.
Why, his very namesake sickens me. You call yourself an entertainer? I call myself a gladiator. I march into battle and dominate my opponents, physically and mentally. You? From what I gather in your name and your very appearance are probably only able to dance and sing. That is what "entertainers" do, not what wrestlers do. To have fallen to the likes of you even in an exhibition has not sat well with me. I have trained even harder, I waited ever so impatiently for this night to come, and at last it is here. Tonight, one on one I shall show you the difference between an entertainer and a wrestler.
All you need do is accept my challenge and come prepared to be broken.
He stands with eyes fixated on the camera awaiting an eventual arrival and a response right then and there.
