It was the only time Cosette had heard he theme played twice in one night and it felt good. Cosette’s jaw literally dropped when she heard the bell ringing. She couldn’t believe that it had finally happened for her in XWA. Through all the awkwardness, learning the hard way and oh yes the beatings she had finally come out on top. Now that the moment had come and it was time to celebrate. She accepted the referee’s arm raise before running off to the ring posts.
Roach: There you saw Cosette using everything she had there to force Addison to tap. I mean at the end we watched her her basically going through a laundry list of holds until she found one that stuck
BuZZ: Well, now we don’t have to watch Cosette playing the dutiful daughter to Addison. I’m sure she couldn’t knock any sense into our “Lady Lightning”, but after this win I think Addison might just have been “made humble”… so to speak.
It hadn’t been an easy road, but now she had a little something over Addison Grey. She continued climbing the turnbuckles and trying to fire up the crowd for her big moment. Occasionally she reminded herself to look back at her downed, but still dangerous opponent.

Addison was laying down on the mat on her stomach, looking towards the entrance ramp with a blank stare. "What prompted the referee to call the match off?" She thought to herself as moved her eyes to gaze at the fans, all of which were absolutely ecstatic over Grace's victory. "I don't remember tapping out..." She crawled herself over to the nearest turnbuckle, turned herself around, and sat up right, allowing her hair to cover her face completely.
Addison then whipped her head back, having her hair fly away from her face revealing her stressed eyes, which were now flowing with tears. Her hands were now brushing up against her forehead, as she allowed herself to breakdown, making ghastly noises.
BuZZ: Is Addison...crying Roach? Roach: Oh gee BuZZ, what gave it away? The expression on her face? The tears? Of course she's crying, she just lost her daughter. Come on BuZZ, show some sympathy. BuZZ: Please don't tell me she's got you convinced Roach, Cosette doesn't even closely resemble Addison. Roach: As far as we know, maybe Cosette was adopted? BuZZ: ROACH, LOOK, they look relatively the same age for crying out loud!
Addison's face suddenly turned sour, as she pulled herself up, and marched towards the referee. She stuck her finger against his chest, "What the hell is wrong with you?!" she yelled, half crying, as the crowd went silent, and Grace's music faded out, "Did you see me flap my arms around like a crazed child? Did you hear me yell the words?"
The referee looked surprised as he nervously shook his head.
"THEN WHY THE HELL?" Addison, flustered with emotions pushed the referee down as the crowd erupted in "oo's." But just as soon as she did that, her body language changed, and she immediately went to the referee's aid, asking if he was okay. She brushed her hair against her ear as she took a knee, "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to do that..."
The referee, surprised, quickly got on his feet, and scurried outside the ring, a few laughs came from the crowd.
She then turned around, and looked at Cosette with a bright smile on her face. She then began to walk towards her, and once she was close enough, asked for a hug.

The festivities were winding down a bit and once again it was just Addison and Cosette facing each other in the ring. Just two women and bad blood.
Cosette stood still, hands on her hips as she tried to figure out what all this was about. Her brow furrows and her mind seems to go blank. It was convenient that she was standing in the middle of a wrestling ring, it meant that she had a couple thousand people doing the gut thinking for her. She broke the stare down to look out and conduct an informal survey on what to do. The results were pretty clear, everyone thought this would be a bad idea.
BuZZ: Is she even considering this? I can't imagine any way Cosette hugging Addison could end well... Well, you know what I mean.
“It’s probably the only chance I have for a sign of respect.” Were what might have been the final words that went through her head before she made her move.
Oh, alright.
She said with a shrug as she warily started to move forward.
Roach: Good, I’m glad Cosette’s decided to make some amends here. I can understand this was a tough time, family trouble and all, but these two made it through. And I must say Cosette really has grown up a lot.
BuZZ: That’s it, I’m cutting you off from the bar. Gimme your keys, Roach.
Are we sure this is a good idea? Was she really going to go for it after everything she had seen, including what she witnessed only seconds ago? Cosette took a few steps forward and met leaned over to meet Addison’s big hug.

Addison wrapped her arms around Cosette, and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Now that's a good daughter," she said in a pleasant tone, loud enough for the crowd to hear. She then patted Cosette on the head, while continuing to hug, not allowing Cosette to escape. The cameras turn around, to see the vibrant smile on Addison's face, as she closes her once flooded eyes.
The crowd remains silent, not knowing what to think of such an event.
Roach: Now that's some family moment BuZZ, for two people to come together after such tragic events really gives the world as we know it, hope.
BuZZ: *Aggravated* Somebody, shut off his mic, he is certainly not cleared to commentate tonight Management.

What the…?
A show of respect, great idea Ms. Grace, you’ve really stepped in it this time. Next time she would just agree with the mob, what could go wrong then? Cosette frantically looks back and forth, trying to figure out some way out of this one. A show of affection, expertly applied, scary. None of the reversals she knew seemed to come to her here and even when she was able to move it wasn’t any use, the grip didn’t even seem to be loosening. She’d need time to plan her next move and pray it actually counted.

Addison suddenly lets go, with a panicked look on her face and starts walking backwards, but trips, and falls on her butt. A giggle begins, and the giggle grows into laughter. She then rolls herself outside the ring, and grabs a microphone, "Cosette-y," she began, "It's not yet over, I'm terribly sorry, but I can't just let you go off and do your own little thing again. Lady Lightning may have lost this match, but, let's take a look at the drawing board, shall we?"
Addison begins walking towards the entrance ramp, not letting her eye leave Cosette in the ring. "One month ago, I was completely ecstatic. I got the news that I was finally going to be with my daughter again, and you have no idea on how much joy that gave me. I was nervous, yes, as any mother would be if they were given the opportunity to meet their daughter once more, and when I finally saw you, touched you, talked to you, I felt like I was living every mother's dream."
She was now sitting on the entrance ramp, in her usual fashion. "...and I just can't let that dream go, Cosette-y," she said with a laugh, "I just can't, the pain was just too much the first time, in fact, it was tough just letting you go during our little moment in the ring."
Addison shot herself back with a little jump, "So, if wish to keep fighting this, fine, I'll be there, and perhaps knock the sense into you until you realize that all I have to give is my love, because, dear, I really do love you. You're my sunshine, you're my world...and if you're ready to finally accept that, that then..."
Addison outstretches her arms.
"I'm here Cosette."
