The grandest prize in sports entertainment. "The Strap". The symbol of excellence in the ring, the epitome of the XWA. The XWAWorld Championship. Many will fight for the right to hold this title but few will achieve it's glory. Those who do will have gone above and beyond their own limitations and rise to another level of greatness. This is what every man who signs up with XWA wants, but only few will be deemed worthy of it's possession.
========2007 History========
FIRST CHAMPION
Scott O'Dell (Defended 1 time)
O'Dell becomes 1st XWA World Champion at Nigh Of Champions and defends successfully in steel cage match.
Title vacated after infraction by O'Dell
SECOND CHAMPION
Jon Payne
Payne wins the 8 BALL Tourney to claim vacated title, but relinquishes it for personal reasons.
THIRD CHAMPION
Scott O'Dell (Defended 2 times)
O'Dell recaptures World Title in the ONESHOT Battle Royal, becoming one of only two superstars to be multi-time champion.
FOURTH CHAMPION
Keith Wyle (Defended 4 times)
Wyle defeats O'Dell and hangs onto title into the season ending PPV Xgames.
========2008========
FIRST CHAMPION
Xander Xavier Luther
XXL wins the Battle Royal Main Event of XGames1-"The Last Dance"-to capture the XWAWorld Title, taking it into the 2008 Season.
SECOND CHAMPION
Ethan Bain
At March Madness 08, Bain captured the vacated World Title in a "OneShot" Battle Royal.
THIRD CHAMPION
Robby Sylk
At Independence Day, Sylk wins "The American Classic" match for the title.
FOURTH CHAMPION
Xander Xavier Luther
Defeating Sylk at Solstice 2008, XXL became the second man to hold the XWAWorld Title two times.
FIFTH CHAMPION
Robby Sylk
Sylk becomes the third two-time World Champ after winning The Devil's Playground, eliminating XXL to do so.
SIXTH CHAMPION
Syrus The Entertainer
Syrus wins The Last Dance at XGAMES2 to win the title, his first in the XWA, and carries it into 2009.
========2009========
FIRST CHAMPION
Tommy Tryton
In a slightly shortened season, Tommy Tryton becomes the 1st new World Champion of 2009 by way of the Ring Ring main event, The Crucibal.
========2010========
FIRST CHAMPION
Kayn
At the next Ring Rage event, Kayn wins his first World Title in the very same match, carrying it into the 2011 XWA season.
