The way the game flows this year, you'll be lucky to see 3 finishers hit in a single match. They really don't have relevance on the outcome of matches. They never did in 07, and certainly won't in 08. You're making a big deal over nothing, Scarlett. What reason would someone even have using the Ankle Lock as a finisher when it doesn't even make the opponent tap out? Unless. It doesn't even factor into the needed damage to secure a pinfall. (You name me ONE match in ANY fed that a person lost by pin from having there legs in red and no other body part) And again, I've gotta fall back onto the fact that the members Cinx listes have had those moves since the came to XWA. And most of them have been here for months.
Another example I can site is Bryan Jasta. The 07 version was simply ruthless. the Jasta caw dominated almost every contest it was in. And even the few times he lost he was never out of the fight. And he like Ashley only used one 16 move (The Fire Thunder Driver) as a finisher. He's prime example of "It's not your finisher that wins matches, it's your CAW that wins matches". I'm in complete agreement with 3x on this one, no way your finisher guarantees you win. Uber or not.

Actually, the 07 settings allowed for the momentum to be gained really fast, ergo, more finishers were used(remembers seeing finishers hit within 2 minutes of a match on more than one occasion.) This year though, finishers do come a lot slower and since finishers can't be saved, they will be hit a lot less.

Yet another fine point. Point blank and period, the overall quality of your caw will dictate whether you sink or swim, especially with the reduction in momentum under the 08 setting. THEN there's the fact that if you didn't read up, all caws will have there Durability hacked 99, so there's really no reason to make such a fuss over it.

And the all improtant factor in MY simming of matches (the simming which counts because it's under XWA settings-if you're not using said setting then please cease with this) the fact that even with a MAX finisher slider, wrestlers kick out of finishers...even in the red...and not just powerhouses either. Now as eluded to, set your sliders to XWA SETTINGS then come again with this. Then again, set them for the sake of getting a feel for how matches will be done in the XWA, nothing else. The sliders will be adjusted as needed. This rule will NOT be, period. Now the next post here should be someone else's primary and secondary finisher. Nothing more. Carry on people.

so a stupid question. Is there no limit on how many people can share a secondary? Like I noticed that I share mine with about 5 other people. If need be I am willing to do a little more research on some of the moves and change my secondary.

God send. What took you so long to do that anyway? Lashley Spear is officially locked. Those with it as a secondary will now need to change to something else. Only a Diamond can now select it as a Primary from her on in to accompany XXL.

Please take a look at the new Finisher Sharing quotas and Uber List located here.As per this ruling, up to four members of each gender can share a primary or secondary classified as "Standard", with "Uber" moves limited to either two per gender or one version of a move per individual in each gender as explained on the list posted. That being said we will be going over the list by order of posting and asking the fifth member who's selected any given move already selected to change them. |
