"Loving It" plays over the PA of the Tacoma Dome, and out to the stage steps the first and former NAT Champion XXL to a roar of the crowd. He waves at his public decked out one of his famous designer suits, aming his way to the ring.
BuZZ: Say what you want, but I'm gonna go with the critics and analysts out there and call a spade a spade. XXL is the best pound for pound wrestler in the XWA, hands down, bar none.
Roach: Well, he might not be the National Champion anymore, but I'd a be a fool to disagree with that notion. The man is walking history in this league right now, you have to have nothing but respect when you say the letters X-X-L, but...what is he doing here? He's not scheduled to be on the card tonight...
Xander steps into the ring and with a mic in his hand, prepares to answer that question.
Well Tacoma, it's no surprise that I come to this part of Washington about 10 or so pounds lighter does it?
The crowd boos at that very fact, that he's no longer the National Champ...
Now, now...don't get to upset folks, it was an awesome run...it was the greatest 4 months in my young wrestling career, but I'd have to agree with the new champion, all things DO come to an end.
That's part of the reason why I'm out here though. You see, seeing as I was the first man to hold the NAT title, and that I'm also the longest running champion in the history of the XWA, well...it means that I have a little bit of say so 'round here...and my first words are to the new champion.
First off, congratulations. Second off, don't make me take that title belt back on account of you dumbing it down. You came out here playing it all nice and honorable when you challenged me to another title shot last week. And then...you're little celebration, and even this week...right back to that trash talking wannabe god of wrestling who's ass I kicked a few weeks back. Making promises? I'll make one to right here and right now, Genesis...
If so much as think that you're putting shame on that title by being the so-called "King Of Controversy", then I'm going to come dethrone you, "Your Majesty". There's only one man who's close to ANY throne in this company right now, and you're looking at him. The NAT title has my namesake written all over it. My blood, my sweat...and if I don't think that you're up to standard, then I'm just going to have take back what's mine, ya dig?
Now...from one trash talking wiseguy to the next, and that man happens to go by the name of Scott O'Dell.
The fans REALLY start to boo now.
Yeah, still the XWA Champion...set now to square off against Keith Wyle in the main event of Soul Survivor for that title. He beat me a few weeks ago, that I'm not gonna knock, folks. Some battles you win and some battles you lose. But that doesn't mean that the war is over...not by a long shot.
When the dust settles and the smoke clears and either you or Keith Wyle emerge as XWA World Champion...
...the next man up is going to be XANDER XAVIER LUTHER. The time has come for me to step it up a hundred notches, and what better way to that than to be at the top of the mountain.
The fans begin to chant the man name aloud as he stands and nods in appreciation.
You can consider me to be the guardian of the good name of the XWA...and you better be damn sure that it doesn't matter whether it's Genesis, whether it's O'Dell, whether it's anyone who puts themselves above the game, I'm going to be the one to take the game to you. Remember that!
Roach: Strong words from XXL. I knew it was only going to be a matter of time before he staked a claim for the World Title, it's only the next logical step for the man.
BuZZ: Yeah, but what about those words towards Genesis? This is clearly a man who has his crosshairs set on many targets still...the hardest working man in sports entertainment right there!
As the announcers talk up the next segment of the show, XXL sets down the mic and heads backstage once again.
