Fighting Styles: High Flyer/Technical
Career Highlights: 1st ever XWA Pure Champion (3 defenses), 2x Pure Champion

Bio:
The incomparable Jimmy Ames burst onto the scene a bonafide rookie in pro wrestling on 2007, and fast became one of th industries rising stars. Upon joining XWA, Ames was a brash, cocky young superstar who had the tools to become on of the leagues biggest stars, and an ego to match. As a rookie, Jimmy did what so few in there careers have ever done, capture a title in his first year as a pro. Early on in the season, Jimmy joined force with then World Champion Scott O'Dell and Osiris Alston to form the original "Headlinerz" stable. (The stable was never disbanded, Jimmy opted to go his own way following his 1st title loss) Though Jimmy's two reigns as XWA Pure Champion were short compared to the reigns of other XWA superstars, the fact that he was able to even win a title, let alone twice in the same season is surely a sign of things to come for the 21 year old.
It was Jimmy's 4 month feud with another young gun, Evan Fate that put him on the map as top competitor. Fate, widely regarded as one of the top 5 wrestlers under 25 in the world time and time again bested Ames, but Jimmy even as a heel at the time exuded a never say die attitude, and despite at one point facing down the pair of Fate and long time ally Sylas Styles, Jimmy never backed down. This gain Jimmy countless amounts of praise from critics and fans. It seemed Jimmy wasn't all talk and bravado after all. Following a critical lose to Fate in a parking lot brawl, Jimmy again found himself in the Pure Title picture. In a #1 contender match between him, Evan Fate, Rock Carmichael and then champion Kris Cade, Jimmy FINALLY secured only his second victory over Fate, (The first being a Steel Cage match even he admits he stole) Securing him his second title shot versus the very man who defeated him for the Pure Title. In a hard fought contest dubbed one of the top 20 matches of XWA 2007, Jimmy defeated Cade to become two time Pure Champion. This reign again was short lived, as after taking a month off, Jimmy would lose the title to savvy wrestling Veteran Testudo.
Undaunted though, it's still VERY early in Jimmy's career. A career that will indeed see him with a resume full of titles and crucial wins. If 2007 was any indication of what lies ahead for him, indeed "Famous" Jimmy Ames will be a name heard quite a bit. Jimmy comes into the 2008 season poised to continue his rise to the top of the industry.
