Cosette Grace grew up with her mother in London, England. When she was in school she trained in several different martial arts, but has never competed professionally in mixed martial arts, despite what a few creative bookers might tell you. Instead, she found the world of professional wrestling more to her liking and worked dates with a number of local promotions for a few years before eventually looking for something bigger and better. In that time she gained a reputation for being as technically sound in the ring as anyone who had come before her and for being, well how shall we say… a little awkward backstage, not that it wasn’t charming. Through a series of connections she made, she was able to generate enough interest in herself as a performer to secure an XWA contract.
Cosette’s first season in XWA ended up very successful. She debuted in a series of matches against Kim Hunter, who adopted the newcomer and helped her survive in the new world. A high profile feud with Addison Grey followed with the two women trading wins back and forth. Cosette then became the first ever XWA Pearl Champion and held the title through three defenses. Hopefully bigger and better things await her in 2008.
