Now, Jordan isn't the standard wrestler. He has no 'horrible' child hood as most do. Growing up in a nice Neighborhood just outside of West Newbury, in his child hood he didn't experience many 'hard ships', sure wasn't born with the 'Silver Spoon' in his mouth, thats for sure.
His school years were mainly filled with praise and hatred. Praise from his parents and teachers for being a star student. And the hatred from the other students and his peers for the same reason. But he quickly associated himself with the kids like him. The ones that didn't necessarily focus all their time on sports or other miscellaneous things that would set back their education. However, Jordan did like to spend some amount of time on sports and the like.
So the hatred he had once had quickly developed into being one of the 'popular' kids. He associated himself with multiple 'cliques' in the school. Some would say he was a 'people' person, while others would say he was just a modest man who didn't like to have many enemies at all.
Jordan's attitude in school carried over to Collage. He made numerous friends and acquaintances. But, during his senior year in collage both of his grandparents on his father's side passed away. Their house had caught on fire during the night and they couldn't get out in time. They left behind items for his parents... but since he was their only grandson, all they left him was a bank account.
The bank account? Was LOADED with money. The first time Jordan heard how much was actually in the account, he was shocked. He couldn't believe they just gave him all that money.
The money helped him through the end of collage, and helped him buy, and fix up a local mom and pop store in his home town. But of course the amount of money he paid for the shop, allowed the ex-owners to retire and not really have to worry about money. During this time period, he had found a woman who just seemed right for him. She was perfect in almost everyway to him. Except that, when it came down to it... he eventually found out that the only reason she was with him was for the 'gifts'.
He was heartbroken yes, but it didn't effect him too much since he knew that she never felt the same about him as he did her. Sure it was a slap from reality. After that, he didn't want to experience the sort of 'rejection' again. It just wasn't something he was used to, or that he ever wanted to get used to. He then focused all his time on helping others and making their lives easier... Never once did he flaunt his money to anybody. The only thing he spent alot of money on was his 'girlfriend'. Anything else, he didn't change from what he was like before he got the inheritance, he just didn't fit the whole 'suit and tie' persona.
After a few years, the store grew, and the money he put into it was already taken care of, he decided to build up a new bar. Not a fancy night club, just a normal... sports bar where men and women alike could come, have a cold one and watch the game.
After the bar was fully set up. On opening night, there was no real major game on, but there was a XWA PPV on. The PPV? Devil's Night. Watching it, he just saw the amount of pride and effort that each and every wrestler put into the business, to put on a good show. Jordan then had his mind set on what he wanted to do. He was going to go to XWA... and wrestle. Making an impact and the title chase was not something that really fascinated him. He just wanted to give the fans a good show, and thats what he was going to do.
