Another loose end {O2Simon}

[Kayn]

*As X-Games rolls on, the crowd is treated to an appearance by Kayn. As “Hammer Smashed Face” plays over the sound system as MSG the crowd comes to their feet when Kayn walks out on to the ramp. He is greeted by the crowd with cheers which brings a smile to his face. Kayn throws his arms out setting off his pyros, he then starts his trek to the ring, stopping at the barriers give some fans high fives.*

Mike: ”Well Buzz, here comes an absolute fan favorite who said he was going to tie up some loose ends before the season ended, and he took down the world champ on Takedown this past week.”

Buzz: ”I could care less about him and his loose ends.”

*As Kayn climbs up into the ring his theme music dies down, but the fans cheers become louder. Kayn smiles and bows to the crowd to say thank you to them all. He then raises a mic to his mouth.*

“Madison Square Garden, can you feel it?”

*The crowd responds with a deafening cheer, but in his normal fashion, Kayn gets the crowd even more riled up*

“I said Madison Square Garden, CAN YOU FEEL IT?”

*The crowd explodes as Kayn looks out at all of them. He smiles then speaks again.*

“It’s great to see you all tonight, this being our final event of the season here in the XWA, and it’s a place to also finish a few things up before we take some time off. Now I’ve personally been wanting to get a few things sewn up before I go back to Seattle and spend some time with my family and friends before coming back to do everything I can to give each and every one of you *Kayn points out to all the fans in the stands as they cheer for him* some of the best matches you’ve ever seen.”

*The crowd explodes as Kayn lowers his mic and takes it all in for a few moments. After enjoying the moment, he raises his mic again and speaks.*

“Now, my road to finishing things up started on Takedown last week, when I went one on one with our World Champ and old rival and friend, Keith Wyle. Now even thought I got my hand raised in the victory, I want to say that all you fans were the winners, because just like when Keith and I were at each other’s throats, we gave you all one hell of a match and I’m proud to say that I’ve stepped into the ring with the champ and walked out the winner.”

*The crowd starts to chant Keith’s name and Kayn looks around at them, then he starts to applaud.*

“Yep, he’s the man and he deserves that title, so Keith, good luck on your title match tonight, and keep that title warm for me. *Kayn gives a small smirk, he then gets back to business* Now as I’ve said, I want to finish up some loose ends and there is one man, that I’ve been waiting for to get a rematch against since early in the season. A match with a man that helped show me what kind of punishment I could take and come back for more. A man, who honestly, I’d have to be out of my mind to call out here. A man who, for lack of a better term, I have a Vendetta with.”

*With that Kayn lowers his mic as the crowd starts to cheer but the announcers are slightly confused.*

Mike: ”Who is Kayn talking about?”

Buzz: ”If it’s who I think it is, he’s completely lost it.”

*Just as Buzz makes his statement...*

The lights in MSG dim. The crowd comes alive as this clearly signifies the arrival of but one man. Without even a second's notice, a voice is heard over the PA...

There's a funny thing about when a man calls out The Devil...[/size]

To the stage comes "The Destroyer". His mere presence fills the arena with a chill.


That being he might just answer. Months ago, you stood in that ring with me, and you gave it the best you could possibly muster. You fought me with every fiber of your existence. But in the end, it wasn't enough. You gave it a valiant effort, but you like so many before you came to find out why I am who I am.[/size]

Simon pauses for a moment. His gaze does not waver.


So here we stand now. As the sun sets on XWA's inaugural season, you come here to face me once more. A fight for redemption. A battle of your own personal atonement. *hmmmph* If that's your only reason for wanting to face me, then you've already lost.I don't care about your silly pride. I don't care about you wanting to tie up "Loose Ends". All I care about is seeing if either you've become a Lion, or you're still a cub. All that matters is your strength. What power courses through those veins. Everything else is meaningless. I ask you, Kayn...to think long and hard. Find the answer in your soul. And find it quickly...on if you're TRULY ready to face me again. Because last time, I was holding back. This time, you get me at my purest, most VIOLENT form. You get the "true" Destroyer. If that is what you wish, I'll grant it to you...

But remorse is a luxury I afford NO ONE. Even a man as respected as you.[/size]

Simon awaits Kayn's response...

*The very presence of Simon Fierhart would send most men into a state of fear for their life and Kayn knew this, however Kayn was not the type of person to show fear. As Simon spoke, Kayn watched him, as his every move was that of a living legend, never taking his eyes off Simon for a second. After Simon lowered his microphone, Kayn immediately raised his and spoke.*

“Simon, I promise you, this has nothing to do with my pride. I was beaten by you in the Semi finals at Vendetta and I will be the first to admit that you were the much better man. My reasoning for calling you out was because since that night, while I’ve been in many different types of matches with many different types of people, no one has taken me to the extremes that you did, and before this season ends, I want to make sure that I can do it again, and again, and again for these people. *cheap pop* Since day one, I’ve been told how much of a warrior you are and I know how respected and revered you are with fans and wrestlers alike, and when I stood in the ring with you I knew and felt exactly why. When your hand was raised after our match, I knew the better man won. And now as I stand here before you, these fans, and possibly God himself I can still feel that surge of power I felt then. But make no mistake Simon, I do not lack the courage of my convictions, I have thought about this long and hard before I even came to this ring, and I want us to have a rematch, not because my pride is hurt or anything like that, but because a loss to you is worth more than a title win to me anyday.”

*With that Kayn lowers his microphone and waits for a possible response from “The Immortal”*

Simon looks on with his eyes never wavering. He heeds the words of Kayn, he raises his mic and responds.

Then there's no reason not to personally see how far you've come along since our last encounter. Last week you defeated Keith Wyle, another man who is on your boat in that he also put up a gallant effort against me, but came up short. A man who walks into MSG World Champion. It speaks volumes being able to defeat a champion in a non-title bout. But Titles are meaningless in MY ring. All that matters is your own skill. To you Kayn, I say these words...

Show...me...yours.

Simon lowers his mic in wait of a response.

[Kayn]

*As Simon finished his statement, a small smile came across Kayn’s face. Win or lose, Kayn would once again test his skill against one of the men that set the bar for the industry. As the crowd waited for his response, Kayn let it sink in for a moment, not many men in Kayn’s position would get a first match with Simon, much less a second. After a few moments Kayn raised his mic again.*

“I have a feeling before the night is over Simon, we will both be impressed with each other’s skills. I promise you I will bring everything I have, and I am not one to disappoint.”

*With that Kayn lowered his microphone and looked at Simon for a few moments. In an odd way, Kayn looked up to Simon as a mentor even thought this was the most they had ever interacted with each other in his short career in the XWA. He waited for a response*
