Playing in the Sandbox (Grace)

The scene starts with Addison's left eye being zoomed in on the camera, giving an almost "Blair Witch Project" feel to it. You see every detail of her eye, from the shade of purple it happens to be, to the redness on the sides. After a couple seconds, the eye blinks, and you begin to hear a slight giggle.

"Cosette Grace..." Addison begins, a childish tone, half-giggling, "Cosette Grace....you went into the ring last week, and we played house. I was the mommy, and you were my little daughter, and we had a fun-fun time. But you were naughty little girl. You slapped your mommy, and mommies don't like being hit in the face."

The camera zooms away from the eye, and you see Addison Grace sitting "criss-cross-applesauce" style. In a sandbox, in the middle of the ring. She has her hair in pig tails, and she looks to be wearing baby pajamas with the Power Puff Girls on them. She has two dolls in her hands, one is a baby doll which resembles Grace, the other is Barbie, which resembles Addison. In front of Addison is a huge doll house, complete with pink VW Beetle.

"Whatever is a Mommy to do when she gets treated with disrespect?" She asked the camera, giving it an innocent look.

Addison's face then immediately turned sour, "THEY PUNISH!" As she yelled this, she popped the head off her Cosette Grace doll, and she watched it bounce on the floor. "Opps." Addison covered her mouth innocently as she said this, picked the head back up, and popped it back on the doll's neck, backwards.

"So what does a Mommy do to discipline her child?" Addison then stands up, and gets into a childish pose, "Mommy makes sure that Daughter doesn't slap Mommy ever again. So she spanks her. Hits her. Takes away her TV time. Doesn't give her dessert..." Addison was doing everything she mentioned to the Grace doll in her hand, "....and above all, teaches her a fun-fun lesson in life, a lesson that every daughter should understand: Mommy knows best."

Addison began to undo her pigtails, and she dropped the dolls on the floor. "And I believe," she began, with a motherly tone of voice, "That you, Cosette, my darling, have yet to learn such a lesson, and therefore, I felt our little get together last week just wasn't enough to satisfy a mother's intuition." She then took off her baby pajamas, exposing a rather revealing "motherly" attire, which wasn't exactly motherly. "And I only want what's best for you, Cosette dear."

As Addison finishes the video package transitions to a more traditional scene, with a much less exciting establishing shot. We see Cosette Grace dressed in her usual smart business attire walking in front of a banner with the XWA logo. It’s clear she’s just had a chance to watch what Addison had to say about their match and the situation between them.

After a few seconds she turns her attention to the running camera in front of her and begins.

Addison Grey, after what happened between us last week I can honestly say the last thing I expected was what I just saw, Addison Grey mother figure. I can’t say I’m that surprised the one thing you have proven over and over again in your time here is that you are completely out of your mind, but I must say I am a bit disturbed. All this gets us into some very strange Freudian territory but I suppose I’m willing to play along for now, even if I am a bit weirded out.

Why don’t we focus on the facts for now? I slapped you in the face, and then you slammed me down on the back of my head I had my chance for revenge, but I couldn’t get the job done last Takedown.

She pauses for a moment looking a little disappointed, yet undeterred by that fact.

Mommy dearest did get her chance to punish me and she did, you pulled one over with me and I’m none too pleased about it. It looks like we can agree on one thing, we’re far from finished.

As she pauses she folds her hands and looks up at the camera which has now gone above her eye level. In a very Addison Grey-ish moment she tries to sound as posh as possible while pretending to beg.

Please mummy, let me have another chance. say one more match this Sunday at Takedown?

It was all official now the two women would have one more encounter. After she finishes Cosette straightened out her jacket and glasses, signaling that everything was back to normal. She clears off the screen as the camera fades to black.

As Addison finished watching Grace's segment, the camera focused back at Addison's face. Her eyes were wide open, and her mouth cracked a half-smile, exposing only the right side of her teeth, and her hair a complete mess. Addison stared into the camera for a full second, her nostrils flaring.

In a dark, raspy voice, Addison began, "Child..." Addison then fell to her knees, her hands in front of her, sinking in the sand. "...when we meet in our four-sided hell once more..." She then stood upright on her knees, allowing the sand in her hands to pour freely. "...you will feel the anguish, the pain, and the torment you caused your Mother when you slapped her across the face on that dark, demonic evening. I guarantee that you will SCREAM bloody murder."

Addison slowly stood back up, wiping her hands on her black skirt, then clamping them together, quite childishly. "And Gracey," she began in a high-pitched voice, blinking her eyes at the camera at a faster pace than any normal human being, "Who will you scream for if your Mommy is already with you?"


She then skipped her way out of the sandbox, and blew the camera a kiss as the scene faded.
