'My Quest' hits the speakers as Chris Lionheart walks out to the ring.
You know... it's been a while since I have come out here. My last match was a match I was given because my opponent found himself on the unemployment line before we squared off. The match that did happen should have been over a long, long time before it finally did. If it wasn't for the damn ropebreak rule, Kanzer would have been out and finished, and wouldn't have gotten a sneaky finisher on me.
I've sat at home and I've played the tape of that match. I've played the tapes from when I first entered the US wrestling scene again in 2005 alongside Keith Williams. I've looked at the tapes from Atlanta, Ohio, New York, and anywhere else I've been. I've taken a long look at my whole carrer. And I realised that I've done a hell of a lot.
I've owned my own companies. I've waged invasions into companies, I've weathered invasions into my own. I've won every title that a company offered simultaneously, I've merged titles into one-another, I've retired titles which now sit on my mantle. I've worked in a developmental territory and been promoted to the main show. I've entered companies with nothing and earned 'everything', including world heavyweight titles. I've been to the very top, and I've spent plenty of time in the mid-card and low-card helping others elevate their careers.
The fact is this: I left wrestling, I shut down TNB, then I came over to XWA, you people boo'ed me. So I thought I'd give you all something to boo about. And after what I did to XWA's Kayn recently, where I took my King of Crimson title away from XWA and denied the big guy his shot... oh yeah, that was fun.
After I did that I sat back and I thought. I've now beaten AJ Pain, Sylas Styles, Cabal Xavier, Cinder Xavier, Jayson Jones, Primo Valiant as well as 'so many' other 'big names' who aren't currently on XWA's roster so I won't mention them .... and as far as I'm done it all!
Here's a message for everyone in the back, whoever wants to fight Chris Lionheart in the upcoming weeks and months....
Weather that's Brent Starr, who's win over me was thanks to Sylas Style's bias referee interference back in L-X-Dub. Cabal who never could beat me for the Hardcore title back in the day, and big man I know XWA doesn't have a Hardcore title right now, but lets hope that changes soon. Or how about Joey Curtis? Yeah, the guy who got his start getting a win over me using a jumping Ace Crusher. 'Big man', Kanzer if you're not happy with what I said a momen ago, it's because you know it's true - no ropebreak = me whooping your ass in 3 minutes flat. Weather Kayn wants a little revenge for me personally taking his title shot from him... I don't really care. Or just some slub in the back who wants to make their name like so many others have made their names, by getting a lucky win over Chris Lionheart.
... This goes out to anyone in the back that wants a shot at Chris Lionheart. This is your only chance, take it whilst you can, because this is my final run!
