As the fans packed in the Thomas & Mack Center wait eagerly for what was to happen next, the wait wouldn't be long. The entrance theme of The Colossus would sound over the PA, and he would enter the arena. Conspicuous in his absence is Marshall Dane however. Shirtless in a pair of black warm-up pants, Higby lumbers down the ramp on the way to the ring...

Buzz: Ladies and gentlemen, the camera does this man NOOOOOOOOO Justice. Easily one of the biggest men in wrestling today.

Roach: And last week, he did what VERY few men have EVER done. Pin Dru Nedermeyer. I think people are still in shock from Higby's show of force in Phoenix.

Higby bounds over the top rope, and for only the second time in his XWA career calls for a mic. Looking out into the stands, The Colossus speaks.

Last week, I did what NO MAN on Earth has EVER done. I picked The Monster up by 'is throat, hoisted 'im up in the air, a chokeslammed him. I proved why I AM the most DOMINANT force in this company. Tonight, I continue ta' do the same. Tonight, I face Dru Nedermeyer One on one.

We've been hearing about a clash between these two men since last weeks show went off the air. It's going to be a monumental showdown!

Higby looks straight into the camera.

NEDERMEYER!!! The reason why you've dominated in this ring, is because every man who's stepped in this ring FEARED you. Even the ones who claimed they didn't. Fear is an emotion that can't be hidden. Because it can be seen in a man's eyes. LOOK into these eyes, Nedermeyer.

The camera zooms in closer to Higby's face.

I don't fear Monsters. I am A COLOSSUS. A JUGGERNAUT!!! I am the irresistible force AND the immovable object. I am the man who is going to prove without a shadow of DOUBT that he IS the one TRUE "Monster" in this industry. Lightning strikes twice tonight. And I do what Ethan Bain, and so many others failed to do. Beat you when you're in top form.[/font]

Just as soon as Higby lowers his mic, the entrance theme of Nedermeyer cues over the PA...

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH MAN!!! Here comes THE MONSTER!!![/center]

As Dru enters the arena, a roar erupts from the Las Vegas crowd. He makes his way down to the ring, and upon entering, stands toe to toe with Higby. The crowd comes unglued as Nedermeyer stares "down" Higby.

Buzz, have you EVER seen anything like this? How many men are there in the WORLD that dwarf Dru Nedermeyer?

Not many. Nedermeyer goes 6'8", 325. Higby goes 7'2", 380. Over 600 lbs of destruction in that ring right now.

Dru steps away. He walks to the ropes and is handed a mic...

You're 110% right, Higby. You did last week what let me correct you ONE man in my career has done. And that man you also just so happen to have a win over, Dieter Liedhamer. There's no question that in this ring, you're a force to be reckoned with. You're a career killer. You've left a trail of bodies in you wake...hell...the moment you STEPPED into XWA, you ended the short career of Chris Havik. But you fail to realize one thing, Stevey...

Dru steps back in closer.

I don't NEED you to fear me. This ring...THIS is my MY YARD. This is MY DOMAIN. There are enemies at the gates. Men who wish to defile my domain. Men like YOU. Men who seek glory at my defeat. You're not the first, you sure as hell won't be the last. But I'll tell you what you WILL be. The next in a long, LONG, LOOOOONG line of men who stepped in the ring with THE MONSTER, and found themselves ripped limb from limb. Higby, tonight to take the walk to the learning tree. And I show you just what it REALLY means to be a JUGGERNAUT in this ring.

Dru's steely blue eyes remain fixated on Higby. His resolve undaunted. He stares into the eyes of a man who actually is bigger then him. But he'd faced men before of this vast magnitude. Higby posed a great threat. But Dru's career was built on facing the next big challenge with no hesitation. He stands ready for Higby's reply.

With a stare that would break most men, Higby was impressed with the demeanor of Nedermeyer. But it changed nothing in his mind. He bring his mic to his lips to reply...

Big words, Old man. BIG words. But tonight, we see if the LEGEND of The Monster is worth the stone it's been etched on. I do the REST of my talking...in the ring.

Higby's music plays over the PA. He drops his mic to the floor, and continues to stare into the eyes of Nedermeyer. He then makes his way to the ropes, stepping over and down to the arena floor. Without even turning back to look at Nedermeyer, Higby continues up the ramp and backstage.

Dru stands in the ring and watches Higby take his leave. Tonight would be a war of attrition. But Dru was bred for moments like this. Tonight, he faced a fearsome foe. He wouldn't have it any other way.
