The lights in the arena go red, and Atreyu's "Becoming The Bull" cues up. To the stage steps Adam Devlin, fresh on the heels of his impressive performance at Only The Strong. Tonight however, it was about retribution. For months on end, Adam's life in XWA was made a living hell by one man, Sabastien Ignace Gallas. Within the last two months, Adam had exacted revenge on some of Gallas' top ranking minions. First, a decisive win over The Colossus, and then avenging the worst beating of his career in defeating Thanatos. But this time, it was all about one man, and one man alone. Adam speaks into his mic...

Now you people oughta KNOW that there is NO WAY you can have a PPV called "Devil's Night" without having the ORIGINAL Red Devil in the building.

The crowd comes alive for the fan favorite.

And tonight...tonight IS gonna be "The Devil's Night". Because tonight, I'm here to tie up a loose end. Or shall I say, sever the head of a beast that at one time brought this place to it's knees. And that head belongs to Sabastien Gallas.

The crowd boos the very mention of the name...

Gallas. You made my life in XWA a nightmare. You hand me beaten and bloodied by Jasta. You had me jumped in a parking lot in Miami. You sent your goons to try and take me out in NYC. You've done everything in your god given power to take me out. But you FAILED every time. Because I'm still standing. Against the odds. Against all possible doubt. I'm still standing.

Adam paces the ring a bit before continuing. The crowd continues to cheer.

I wish I could say that I was out here for a competitive match. But I'm NOT. I'm out here for PAYBACK. But not just for me. I'm here for Payback for Joey Curtis. For Kayn. For Ryan Fierhart. For Shawn Hollywood. For ALL the people you screwed over, tried to end the careers of and walked all over. I'm standing here for them. And all these fans who had no choice but to sit by and watch while for 4 months you made XWA your personal sandbox, and toyed with the well being of anyone you laid eyes on. Tonight, it's PAYBACK TIME!!! And I can't think of any better place to do it, then at the PPV NAMED after The Red Devil, The DAREDEVIL, Adam Devlin!!![/b]

He gets a huge pop from the crowd. But the cheers change quickly as the entrance theme of the man in question plays over the PA...

As "Killers Are Quiet" plays, Sabastien makes his walk down to the ring. It had been over a month since Sabastien had been seen. Devlin making this challenge wasn't a surprise to him. In fact, he knew it was coming. As Adam said himself, he'd slowly been working himself to this very moment in time. Gallas receives a mic and responds.

It comes to this, eh Adam? One final fight. You, finally calling me out for one final act of retribution. How "heroic". It's a shame that this isn't the movies. I think I've proven time and time again that the bad guys CAN win. But I'm going to be honest with you. I've anticipated this for MONTHS. I remember all to well our first encounter. A fight in which I LOST. That hasn't sat well with me. When I took this company from my Father, I was in no position to avenge that loss personally. So I saw to it by other "means". But this time, we step in the ring two men with a score to settle. And settle it we shall. You challenge me to a match tonight? NO...I challenge YOU to a match.

A LAST MAN STANDING MATCH!!!

The crowd shows there approval of Sabastien's challenge with a roaring cheer.
