Greetings ladies and germs, this is Fabiola live from the Thomas & Mack Center here in Las Vegas, NV. This venue is one of the newest and most exciting stadiums in North America, the home to this year's NBA All-Star Game and in a few short days on Halloween night it will be the home to one of the most exciting if not the most brutal contests ever to be held in the XWA-The Devil's Playground match.
As you can see behind me, crews are already working round the clock to have this monstrous structure erected and ready for the PPV where it will host not one, but TWO main event matches as six Diamonds will enter it to vie for the #1 Contendership for the Diamond Title at XGames, and of course six men will enter to battle it out for Keith Wyle's XWA World Championship.
The chamber itself will measure out at 36 feet in diameter surrounding the ring and is composed of over 10 miles of steel and chain. The pods you see there are made of solid bulletproof glass that will encase four of the six entrants until a timer sounds off that will enter them into the match in random or predetermined order.
Now I have some information here to share with you as pertains to the men's DP match. As has already been determined at TakeDown, Jon Payne has earned the right to enter that match last. He will be the final man to step into that chamber there, but the champion Keith Wyle has been selected to go into the match as the #3 entrant and Scott O'Dell who lost that match will be #2. To clarify, the 3 as yet unknown entrants will begin the match two in the ring and one in the final pod. That third entrant chosen will be the first to enter the match, followed by O'Dell, then the champ, then Jon Payne.
The Diamond Devil's Playground match's entry will be determined completely at random as the 6 Diamonds will not know what order they enter until the match itself begins.
When the fans step into the arena, they will see this chamber suspended high above the ring. When the time comes for the matches to take place it will be lowered down onto the ring before the matches actually begin. There will be a crew on standby to do any necessary repairs to the ring before the second match takes place, such as if the glass pods are somehow broken during the course of the first.
Even now in this empty arena you can feel an air of excitement as Devil's Night quickly approaches. You fans can be a part of this excitement as we roll along the road to XGames1. It all goes down Halloween Night live on Pay Per View, so you might wanna skip the Trick Or Treating this year, kick back and have yourself the treat that IS XWA!
