As I've eluded to over the season, 2008 will begin a brand new division in XWA, the X-Gen Division. As I've done research on what and what not will be available on the offset, there will be enough available without hacks to make this new division a reality. And with the addition of hacks as the season roles along, we'll have on our hands the most ridiculously brutal and beautiful division in ANY efed.
Listed below will be the preliminary requirements as per what I know of the game thus far:
-ALL X-Gen competitors Must range from Cruiserweight to Heavyweight
-X-Gen Fighting styles allowed will be any combo of these styles:
High Flyer
Technician
Showman
Brawler
Submission Artist
Hardcore
-Powerhouse types and Super Heavyweights will NOT be permitted in X-Gen
With knowledge that smaller wrestlers WILL be able to lift bigger guys up at least two weight classes higher then them when there momentum is high, that effectively changes the landscape of having smaller, more agile characters in XWA. The X-Gen Title will serve duel purposes, as it will be a sort of a Cruiserweight/Light Heavyweight/Hardcore title all in one. As more is revealed, more will be added. But X-Gen WILL be a reality in 2008.
