Kristin's theme song goes on, as the crowd starts to cheer. Kristin had been demolished by Michelle Marx, last Takedown, yet she didn't hold back and tried to put everything on the line.

Unfortunately for her, it was like stopping a rhino with a toothpick But past is past and Kristin is ready again

Roach: Kristin Hager ladies and gentleman, she has an admirable spirit, despite not having won a match yet, she doesn't give up.

BuZZ: She's a loser Roach, I mean she has been smooshed 24 times, what else do you want? She is no competition

Roach: Well maybe her economical troubles have now been solved she can put more than a challenge, also, it was proven that if Kristin is given the chance to fight somebody who doesn't overhelm her phisically, she can be a challenge. Ask Aimi Hoshiko

Kristin meanwhile has shaked all the supporting fans hands that she had in her path and is now in the ring

Well thanks for all your support fans, I know I haven't done anything yet in return to your support, but.. I'll try harder.

My last match... buff... It was like a rollercoaster all the time I was up and down, down and up, up and down.. Matter of fact is that Michelle mopped the floor with me.

Kristin nods her head sadly for a little bit just to rise it up with determination

But that's not such an important wound to let me down. In XWA it doesn't matter how many times you get knocked down, but how many times you get up!

Also, while some of the Diamonds there hate me, and consider me trash, there's a lot more who like me and helped me!!! My economical problems are over now thanks to them, and I think nothing would make my Diamond friends more happy than seeing me touching some gold tonight, or atleast being close to it.

So that's why I bring up the mic to my mouth and I fill this words with pride...

Cosette Grace, me, Kristin Hager, maybe the worst ranked Diamond ever, maybe I ain't even worthy to be in PPV, but since I am. I want to put the stakes high for this fans out here, and challenge you for a match with the Pearl title on the line!!!

Roach: Come on Kristin you can do it!

BuZZ: Is she mad, in 2 minutes she will be tapping out

Kristin after having laid that challenge, looks around as the fans cheer her, she exhibits a shy smile and starts patting herself in the back, she needed a lot of confidence to lay out the challenge, she will need a lot more to wrestle Cosette.

Soon enough, Cosette’s music plays and she makes her walk down to the ring being showered with cheers from all sides. Once she climbs into the ring she circles around Kristin and puts her arm around her to continue the back patting. It didn’t seem right that she had to do it on her own, and Cosette thought it would be a nice gesture, she seemed to be full of nice gestures tonight.

Awwwww.

You know I think she might have finally learned her lesson after Jessica Hart took her down last week.

I think Ms. Grace got taken down a peg, and maybe she’ll keep up the show of humility and respect.


Thank you XWA fans, it’s good to be back here in Los Angeles at one of the biggest shows of the year. And tonight I’ve got a very special opportunity against a very special opponent.

Tell me, is everyone excited to see Cosette Grace versus Kristin Hager?

They were, of course.

I thought so. I mean you have the Pearl Champion and you have a woman with ambition, nerve and a desire to win, whether it be for money, glory or the sheer satisfaction of it all, in spite of statistics and odds. In short, she’s exactly what we need here even if she doesn’t realize it.

Kristin wouldn’t have done that herself, but Cosette thought it was best to build her up as much as possible. Both of them needed to look good going into the match, otherwise it wouldn’t do either of them any good.

Kristin, my last match didn’t go as well as I’d hoped either, Jessica Hart beat me fair and square in this ring. But I won’t let that slow me down, and you shouldn’t let Michelle Marx or anyone else get to you. And I think you know why. You have something far more important on the horizon. Kristin Hager, I officially accept your challenge for the Pearl Title at Solstice. You and I one on one in one of the biggest matches of our careers.

The crowd roars its approval, but it seems Cosette has something else in mind. A little smile crosses her face and she raises a finger.

On one condition you have to assure me you think you’ll win, extra points if you tell me how.

Kristin exhibits a shy smile as she sees that Cosette is willing to face her and accepts her challenge.

Uh... Well Cosette... Thanks for the back tapping, I know I am exactly what you need..

BuZZ: Exactly Cosette needs somebody who gets defeated rather quickly to boost her career

Roach: Look, you can say that Kristin can be defeated quickly, but I recall she lasted 18 minutes in a submissions match, and in the IronDiamond match, despite not getting any pinfall nor submission, she never backed down

Kristin with a doubtful look in her face, looks at the fans and rises her left arm, the crowd cheers, this sure has surprised Kristin.. As we know former "locals" don't get that much of a reaction.

Well since you give me your trust... I demand... wait, I ask you Cosette, to put your belt on the line, in a...

Kristin catches her breath before saying the match she wants

BuZZ: Say it loud say it proud loser!

Roach: It's obvious Kristin's nervous, she never had that match in her career, and since arriving in XWA. She has got into a match with Heather Fierhart!

BuZZ: Yeah... The shortest triple threat match ever...

Kristin pats her back again, to calm herself down, she had lots of respect for Cosette, and wanted to find a match worthy her talent.

SUBMISSIONS MATCH!!!

Kristin completely insecure looks concerned at the fans, and she gives them a thumbs up.. With her voice trembling

Y...y...you like that crowd of Los Santos... Los Angeles, CA?

the crowd cheers wildly as they bring a shine to Kristin's eyes.

They like it Cosette! They like it! So we should do our best for not disapointing them shall we?

Kristin extends her hand to Cosette, hoping to settle down the match with a verbal contract.

Cosette’s eyes just widen as she looks at Kristin in disbelief. The girl did have guts, she had to give her that. Finally she manages to force one word out.

…R-really?

Roach: I think Cosette’s as shocked as we are Buzz, from what we’ve seen of her in the ring so far I’d say she’s one of the best submission wrestlers in the Diamond division, maybe even in XWA period.

BuZZ: Yes, I agree this is a great way to keep a tight stranglehold on the title Roach.

She covers her mouth in shame, realizing that was a rude way to put it. It was time to be professional again, so she walks around the ring a little, under the pretext of letting the anticipation build, but she turns to speak again once she regains her composure.

Well, if that’s what you want then I’ll certainly oblige. You know I’m well versed submission wrestling and I do love a challenge once in a while. If you think you have the skill and you think you can stretch or break me apart then I’ll give you the chance. As long as you promise that you won’t stop until you hear the bell ringing and me tapping out or screaming for mercy.

Kristin brings the mic to her lips as she replies..

Well... I think I am kinda well-skilled in Submission, in fact I have a good Texas Cloverleaf, which I applied to Aimi Hoshiko a few times... Too bad I wasn't really able to make her tap out... Anyways I ain't here to bring stuff of the past, I am here to bring the future, and the present.

And hey, maybe I can leave LA... With a title ;D

BuZZ: In Dreamland loser!

Kristin smiles as the fans roar, with her. They are giving this short, insecure, woman who has the million dollar chance to become something bigger than a jobber.

Well, Cosette actually "you won’t stop until you hear the bell ringing and me tapping out or screaming for mercy"

Sounds kinda crude, as long as I hear the bell sounding and I ain't the one tapping out, I will release the hold, I don't want to injure someone as talented as you are.

So the match is official now. Thanks Cosette, I'll try to put everything there is on my stockage out there for you, and if I lose... It would have been worth the try wrestling with someone who doesn't consider me as victory guarantee.

Kristin hugs Cosette friendly, she had respect for her as a wrestler and as a person. Kristin knew she wasn't that great, but Cosette gave her a chance and she was gonna milk it, that's for sure. Kristin had the chance to change her jobbing spree, and she wouldn't let it pass.
