End of days (o2Zlabe&Velvet)

Coming in after a previous segment, Kris Cade stands in the ring alone. With mic in tow, he speaks out to the crowd.

Last week on Takedown, I took on Jonny Punch in a hardcore match. Despite losing by way of a barbed wire wrapped 2X4, I'm still proud of how I competed. Hardcore isn't my bag, but I went the distance against a guy who in his own element is a tough nut to crack. UNLIKE out current Pure Champion, Ryan Zlabe.

The crowd begins to boo at the mention of his name.

You see, One month ago I lost the Pure Title to him, AFTER King pretty much did the damage to me. Zlabe didn't beat me, King did. Ryan Zlabe just swooped in like the opportunistic vulture we all know he is, and got the pin on me when King wasn't looking. For all intents and purposes, it should be KING I'm facing tonight, not Zlabe. But it's as they say, a win's a win. But this time Zlabe, just like me and Punch last week, you face me in my OWN element. One on one. And tonight's result is going to be decidedly different. Tonight I right a wrong made at Mayday, and take back MY Pure Championship. You're a paper champion Zlabe. And until you beat me One on one, NO ONE is going to take you being Pure champ seriously. Unfortunately, tonight your free ride ends. I take back what's mines and prove what I, and everyone in this arena already know. And that's that in a one on one fight, YOU CAN'T BEAT ME!!!

Suddenly, the music of Ryan Zlabe hits the PA.

...But instead of Ryan coming out Vel comes out in his place at least for now. Of course she has a mic with her.

So this is the man who lost the Pure Title to Ryan Blaze. But wait, Ryan basically just sat back and let King do all the work. Let me tell you something Cade. Brains will always beat brawn. Why should Ryan waste his energy fighting when he could let you two wear yourselves out and beat each other down for him.

See on his own he was able to capture the Pure Title. With me, he'll go all the way to the very top. Granted he could do that on his own but with me he'll be able to get there even faster. Cade, you're just a stepping stone for him. But enough about me talking about him. I know how great he is. He knows it too and deep down each and ever person knows that he may just be the greatest champion ever. But enough of me talking about him. I'll let either you rant some more or maybe he'll push aside some important matters to come out here and address you.

Rubbing his chin, this was almost exactly how he'd invisioned this to happen. Kris raises his mic to respond.

More important matters, eh. And that's the man who we have as Pure Champ. A man who can't answer to his own battles. A man who has to send his LADY out to do the talking for him. It's nice to see who wears the pants in the relationship now. Your man Ryan had best take a nice, LOOOOOOOOOONG look at that title. Because it's gonna be his last time ever holding it. I am NO MAN'S stepping stone. And you'd do real well to remember that. You can whisper in his ear sweet nothings. Fill his already swollen skull with all the "you're the best, baby" crap all you want. Bottom line is this. Ryan Zlabe can't out wrestle me. Because there WON'T be a colorful colossus to hide behind. And there won't be YOU to hide behind either. There's just going to be him, me and the air between us. And when all is said and done, he'll be staring at the scaffolding, and I'll be two time Pure Champion. Relay THAT one to him, lil Ms. Messenger.

[Trouble*]

A man who can't finish his own battles? You must be mistaken, I've been here this whole time observing.

Says Ryan from way up in the stands.

Oh, and Cade? You bitch and moan that I stood behind King, but seriously, if you were smart, don't you think you'd do the same thing too? Think about it. King's a beast, he basically destroyed you and I. I wait until you're crushed, then snap up the win. Seems smart to me.
