He wasn’t in Tokyo, Japan yet, but he wanted to shoot him promo for the War Games match in California. We find Carson Freedom standing in an open field. He had brought a camera man with him so that everyone could watch and listen to his promo. Carson continues walking as he thinks about his past and what he did before he was a wrestler. He stops walking and looks deeply around the around field. He takes a deep breath. He begins to speak while looking out into the open.
So this coming pay per view will be May Day taking place in Tokyo, Japan. Also I’ve heard about one of the main even matches being the War Games match. A cage surrounds you as you wrestle others trying to eliminate them from the match. It’s just a bunch of eliminations. The last man standing in this match secures a spot in the main event match at the very first XGames.
Carson now turns his attention over to the camera.
I like the sound of the name of this match type. War Games. Basically the theme is about having a war. Now that brings me back to before I was a wrestler. Yes I was in the army. I joined the army the day I turned eighteen. My parents and the rest of my family didn’t believe that I could do it because of how rigorous and intense it was. You see I proved them wrong and made it far in the army. I was one of the best gunmen when I was there. People looked up for me to be there at the right time. Yes going into battle was the toughest part because you didn’t know whether or not you would come back or not. But here I am. I went into many battles and still came back alive. I’ve lost many of my best buds do to them being killed, but I still went on and fought for the United States. Then I received a call one day saying that my parents have been murdered. I had to leave the army because it was too much. All I had was my sister left. I rushed home that day only to find out that my sister was murdered also and the man who did it also killed himself. That was tough for me. But that’s not what you all what to hear and I know it.
Carson turns back to face the open.
You want to know why I deserve to be in this match. Well War Games says it. I am an ex-soldier who knows how it really feels to be in a war. I am a beginner her in XWA and I know that there are some people who don’t believe I should be in this match. Well I believe that I deserve to be in this match because I want to prove myself as someone in the XWA. I want to prove all the doubters wrong. I want a chance to show everyone that I can do it. I did it once by joining the army and becoming one of the best gunmen there and I believe in myself that I can do it again by getting placed in this match and putting my best foot forward and winning the WAR GAMES match. I believe that this pay per view is perfect for me to shine in. It’s time to bring back the soldier inside of me and bring my all into any match that I’m in at MAYDAY.
Carson looks away from the open and looks back at the camera.
So XWA staff it’s up to you who goes into the match and I’ll be waiting to here who you decide to place in the twelve man match at MAYDAY.
We see Carson turn back and face the open for the last time. Thought flourish through his mind about his times in the army. This would be a great chance for him to make a name for himself. He was already ready for MAYDAY. The time was soon nearing and the contestants would be chosen. Carson then salutes to the open as the camera fades to black so that nothing more can be seen.
