During the course of Takedown, an unknown, yet well dressed man emerges from backstage. Confused by this man's appearance, the crowd sits and wonders who he could be. As he enters the ring, he callas for a mic. Clearing his throat, he prepares to let everyone know his intentions.
Ladies and gentlemen. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Marshall Dane, the AGENT of champions. And I know you all are wondering just what the hell I'm doing here. Well, allow me to explain. To those of you who keep up with the XWA website, you would know that amidst the signing of many of TNB's top talents, another aquisition was made. One of COLOSSAL proportions. Well, I am here to introduce myself as being the representative to the MAN, the MYTH, the soon to be LEGEND, The COLOSSUS. And I am here ladies and gentlemen, to issue an OPEN challenge to ANY XWA superstar who thinks they may the testicular fortitude to step in the ring with a 7'2", 420lbs GIANT. So, who amongst you "superstars" backstage think you have what it takes to face my GIANT, at MAYDAY?

Eric Rhodes steps out onto the stage with a look of pure disgust on his face. How could this guy walk around being proud of a man who may have ended the career of another. Rhodes was fightin' mad, and it looked like he was finally about to make his in ring debut.
Marshall Dane, You and you GIANT are a pair of straight SUCKAS!!! You're actually out here toutin' this guy? A man who sees fit to man handle someone who just won a hard fought triple threat match? Someone who like me, hasn't even began to start his wrestling career, and now that dream may be over? You my man, are lower then low. And so is ya' boy. You're lookin' for a fight? You've FOUND one. Right here, in ME. I don't fear some genetic freak of nature. I've seen and beat tougher guys on the streets. You bring ya' giant to the Tokyo Dome. Because I'm bringing enough hurt to satisfy me, Chris Havik, and EVERYONE backstage for the crap he pulled tonight.
Eric waits for Dane's response.

Dane begins to laugh off mic at Rhodes and his sentiments for Chris Havik. He composes himself enough to respond.
Yes, It IS indeed unfortunate what happened to Mr. Havik earlier tonight. A tragedy if ever I saw one. BUT...and yes there's a but, it could have been avoided. You see, I've shopped the talents of my client around to many a wrestling company, and HE himself deemed none of them worthy enough of his precious time. And for a man his size, his time IS indeed precious. You see, My client has been wrestling three years now, but he's been FIGHTING all his life. And in that well...sometimes he just goes off on his own, and maims people.
Dane shrugs.
He's a loose cannon in that regard. Chris Havik was in the WRONG PLACE, at the WRONG TIME. And you, as well as EVERYONE backstage witness the SHEER DEVISTATION my client is capable of. So that brings me, to you. Young Eric Rhodes. One of the "New Breed" if you will. You feel it your duty to avenge Havik. And that's cool. That's ok. But know this, Rhodes. to step in the ring with THE COLOSSUS, is to put you career on the line. So think LONG and hard about what your asking for, son. I don't want the loss of another budding young superstar on my conscience. That's to much to bare.
Dane begins to laugh sarcastically as he awaits Eric's response.

Eric shakes his head at Dane. The fact that he was eating this up made him even madder.
You know what, you're DAMN sure an agent. Full of hot air. You bring your giant, and I'll bring a can of 100% WHOOP ASS. And I'll be sure to save some for YOU as well, chump. If no one is gonna step up to facin' that big for nothin' Neanderthal, I sure as hell am. I'll see YOU in Tokyo.
Eric gives Dane one final look up and down, and shakes his head again. As focused as he was, deep down, he knew he might have bit off more then he could chew. His first professional match versus a man two times his side, and capable of ending careers. But there was no turning back now. He excepted the challenge. Eric turns and heads backstage. Tokyo wasn't a long flight from LAX, and he was going to need as much time to prepare for this match as he could.
