Good evening ladies and gentlemen. I am Carmella Blackheart, President of the XWA and it's with pleasure that I announce our very first international PPV event, MAYDAY-War Games which will take place at the legendary Tokyo Domw in Tokyo, Japan. This being our first trip off of American soil, Mayday will be a spectacle the likes that the Combatants of the XWA have never experienced, as the three specialty matches will showcase.
As has been finalized this past week, the Tag Title belts will put on the line in a Triple Threat Ladder match, when The Dooleys defend against Viewer Discretion and one of our newest teams, the Strike Force.
Then there are the two major matches of the evening, The BOOT CAMP MATCH and of course...WAR GAMES.
The BOOT CAMP MATCH will be open to 6 willing XWA Diamonds. It's a unique Battle Royal where the only way to eliminate your opponents is by KO. There is no pinfall or submission. The winner is instantly named the number one contender to the XWADiamond Championship.
WAR GAMES itself will be open to 12 Male Combatants in a series of 3 Steel Cage Battle Royals. After the first 4 are eliminated in each match, the remaining 2 shall face off in a 4 Man Cage Battle Royal, with the last man standing earning himself the very first spot in the Main Event of X-GAMES1, live from Madison Square Garden at the end of the season!
As you can see, there are high stakes in both of these matches, and as such I'm leaving it to the combatants themselves to stake their claims in each one of these matches. Tell the world why it is that you deserve a spot in either match, and the night of the show, the chosen entrants will be announced. The current XWA Champions are excluded from selection.
