Here Comes The Boom plays over the pa system as Mr. Steele makes his presence to the XWA crowd. Not much has been seen of this man as he is more of a behind the scenes type person, but is available to those to who seek him.

He approaches the ring and steps in side. He holds out his hand for a microphone to be placed there. A stage hand readily gets one to him and his music fades out.

Good evening ladies and gentlemen. I hope you are enjoying your time here in the XWA arena. There is reason for my being out here. You see, I have just signed a new contract with a new up and coming star.

Now what better way to make a debut than at a pay per view, yes? So, this goes out to those that do not have a match. Whoever is the first to come down and ACCEPT this open challenge against the new signee will be added to the pay per view card.

One stipulation. You won't find out the identity of the opponent until you are out in the ring.

So, whose willing to step up to this open challenge?[/i]

'Six' by All That Remains hits, and out walks Ryan. He stops on the stage, mic already in hand, and looks directly as Mr. Steele. No words, but simply the look he gives him says a thousand words. Ryan Zlabe accepts. The crowd begins to mumble, wondering how the match will turn out. Ryan's last match wasn't successful, but nonetheless, it was entertaining.

Ah, excellent Mr. Zlabe. I'm glad to see that someone has decided to step forward for this challenge. You're opponent shall see you at Independence Day. Oh, and one more thing. Be sure to prepare, this individual is no slouch by any stress.[/i]

And with that, Mr. Steele takes his leave from the ring. He walks up to the stage and passes by. He looks over at Mr. Zlabe and nods, then continues on his way towards the back.

Ryan's eyes remain on the ring, however, his reflex told him Mr. Steele was JUST about to go backstage, and that's when he'd address him.

Mr. Anonymous may not be a slouch, but you should very well know I am not one, either. As a matter of fact, here's the deal...

A sick grin appears on Ryan's face.

I lose and Zlabe dies. If I lose, the old Ryan Blaze comes back to XWA. Am I being cocky? Maybe. But I plan on backing up my words. This mystery opponent better bring everything he has.
