*The crowd settles in for the next match at the ID07 pay per view, but before the match starts “Hammer Smashed Face” blares through the house PA system. The crowd comes to their feet as Kayn walks out from behind the curtain. He is wearing his normal street clothes which includes a Philadelphia Flyers hockey jersey. He points out to all the fans in the crowd and applauds them, then throws his arms out setting off his pyro. While walking down the ramp, he gives a few high fives to the fans by the barrier, in his normal fashion. He rolls into the ring and climbs the second turnbuckle, points out to everyone again and applauds them, he then calls for a mic from the ring announcer. As his entrance music fades, Kayn stands in the middle of the ring. Before he can raise the mic to his lips to speak the crowd chants his name. He pauses, looks out to the crowd and gives a smile, then raises the microphone and begins to speak.*
“Philadelphia Pennsylvania!”
*The crowd comes unglued. Kayn waits for a few moments and takes in the electricity radiating from the fans. He then raises the mic again.*
“So I’m sure some of you might be aware that tonight we have a little thing called Independence Day right here in the Wachovia Center. Did you all know that?”
*The crowd cheers as Kayn smiles and nods his head.*
“Seriously, it’s true, and what better place to have an event with such a name. I mean this city has had a few things to do with the independence of this country. I mean this is the city where the Declaration of Independence was signed, this is the city that was the first national capital, and this is where the Liberty Bell is. So it was an obvious decision to have an event of this magnitude here in Philly, a city that breathes independence.”
*Kayn stops for a moment to collect his thoughts before speaking again.*
“So tonight, I stand here in front of you all and claim MY independence. I will not stand by and watch an overbearing tyrant hold the fates of myself or my fellow XWA wrestlers in his hands. I will not be put under the thumb of such a man and let decisions be made that affect me and my friends. But I know I don’t stand alone in this war. Not only does Philly have a rich history of independence, but it also has the nickname of ‘The City of Brotherly Love’. So without further ado, I want to introduce to you one of my ‘brothers’ in this war.”
*With that Kayn lowers his mic and points towards the curtain awaiting the theme music of one of his partners.*
