Backstage during TakeDown, Fabiola catches up to Syrus Sykes to get in a few questions for The System.

Fabiola backstage and I'm standing by right now "The System" Syrus Sykes. Syrus, any thoughts on what happened last week at Solstice in your "Finisher Only" match against Jon Payne.

Thoughts? I don't do thoughts, baby...SS is all about the words. Jon Payne thinks that he can upstage me? ME??? I'm the damn System here, baby! I am The Next Legend, destined for greatness...and that little punk wants to try and steal my spotlight? You know exactly what I'm talking about, Payne. You didn't just hit me with ONE finisher, no no, he hit me with TWO. You saw it didn't you Fab? First the Magnum Driver and THEN his little PayneKiller. The man is just simply trying to outstage me.

That's boldy stated there Syrus...but aren't you the one who made that stipulation?

As Fab asks the question, Syrus scowls at her. Damn lucky she looked good...

Thank you Captain Obvious...yeah I did make that stip happen. Yeah you wanna say it, go ahead and say it, he beat me at my own game or some other BS like that right? Well, beat me once, shame on you, beat me twice?

No way, no sir, no how. I made my statement the first night I stepped into that ring, and then you went on and made one yourself at Solstice, so now...as far as I'm concerned...we're right back at square one. Question now is what do YOU wanna do about it?

Moments after Syrus makes his statement, Payne steps into the scene on the opposite side of Fabiola. She turns the mic to him so he can respond.

I hope you don't think for a second that I'm satisfied by just hitting you with a PayneKiller last week. As far as I'm concerned, last week at Solstice was just a tune up match. All it did was prove that I'm just a little faster on the draw than you are, Syrusmeister. That should be some food for thought right there. You might have built up a little bit of steam at that the end I'll give you that, but all I need is that one small opening, that one little window of opportunity to open and that's all it takes to find out just like you did last week why they call me "Mr. Momentum Killer".

You can forget about the P's and Q's, Sykes. You step into the ring with me and you'd better have it all down, studied and set to memory from A TO Z because when the bell rings, yes indeed it is time to go to school. Payne 101-Advanced.
