The scene comes in to Kris Cade, dressed in his street gear. Behind him is the Vendetta poster. On his shoulder, The XWA Pure Championship. He looks into the camera and begins.
A long time ago, My father taught me a valuable lesson. That lesson is "Never surrender". He served this country as a Navy SEAL for 17 years before retiring. He's won the Congressional Medal of Honor, and currently works in Anti-Terrorism. If there's one thing he's seen in his life, it's the horrors of war.
I fight on a different battlefield. Not one of guns, mortars and napalm. But one with 4 corners, surrounded by ropes and steel. When I told my father I wanted to become a wrestler, He gave me his full support. It's what I do, and I'm VERY good at it. Before I ventured into my first company in Japan, he told me "fight as if your life depends on it". That's the difference between me and EVERYONE else in XWA. Inside that ring, I lay down my very life for the sake of victory. Wrestling is more then just my job. It's my DESTINY.
Austin Harris. Tonight, you step into my world. Where "pure" skill dictates who wins and loses. You may have been good enough to beat Ryan Blaze, but are you good enough to step into ground zero? I personally don't think so. This is my battlefield. And on this battlefield, I shoot to kill.
