Adam scours the backstage area of the arena. His mission, find someone ballsy enough to team with him tonight. His first choices, Simon Fierhart & Evan Fate were both already booked. The clock was ticking, and he'd need a partner, otherwise chances are he'd be fighting two men on his own.
Geez, you'd think everyone was scared of this guy. What, do they'll come home to there dog dead on there lawn if they fight him??? This is nuts! There's gotta be someone around with the backbone to step up to Gallas...
Suddenly, A fellow XWA superstar ventures up to Adam and speaks...

Jared Chase steps up in front of Adam.
Last time I was in the ring, I got beat by Alston. A loss I have every intent on paying him back for. But right now, it's about XWA pride. That kid Blaze has alot of nerve jumpin' ship and joinin' up with Sabastien like that. I'm all about teaching guys a lesson in respect. So if you need a partner, I'm your man.
Jared waits to hear Adam's response.

Adam was pleased that of all the people to answer the call, it was Jared Chase. He responds to his words.
You just made my night, Chase. Here I was thinking that no one had the stones to step up. I shoulda' known better then to count you out. Still, Gallas is a tough son of a bitch. And "Zlabe" is no slotch either. I hope you're up for a brawl, because this isn't gonna be pretty.
Adam nods as he awaits Jared's reply.

Are you kidding me? Fighting is what I do best. Those two jokers won't know what the hell hit them. I know a little something about Tag Team wrestling. So in that we've got a decided edge. I've got your back in this one, Devlin. I may not be Simon Fierhart, but I give you my word that I'll get the job done.
Jared loosens up his wrist a bit in wait for Adam's reply.

Excepting Adam's hand shake, Jared gives him a respectful nod. Two modern day gladiators had now joined forces to face a common foe. The question was, would there new found alliance be enough to withstand the fury of Sabastien Igance Gallas???
