*this promo is cut before the match at March Madness*
*The camera fades into the basement of the American Airlines Arena when Kayn is seen pacing around a small dark room. He seems focused on his match by warming up and stretching. He stops for a few seconds and speaks*
“So it’s all come down to this. Here I am, in the bowels of this great building, getting myself set for my first pay per view experience. Ready to give it my all for all the fans out there watching live and at home. *huge pop* This is going to be a hard match for me. Not only do I have to overcome this overwhelming feeling of anguish and disappointment I have for myself for under estimating my opponent in my first ever televised match, but I have to do it on his turf. A place that no matter how bad of a person Keith Wyle could be, he will still get cheers, because he is the hometown hero. He is a role model to some of the kids out there tonight. This will be one of the hardest matches of my life.”
*Kayn paces back on forth, becoming more and more focused on the task at hand.*
“It’s odd, I’ve never in my life believed my own bravado. I went out and said that I would beat Keith Wyle, and I truly believed I would. It’s wasn’t even a question of would or could, because I know I could beat him. Hell, in all reality, anyone could beat anyone. It’s all a matter of completely believing what your selling. I did what I could to mess with his head, to get that slight edge to give me the win.”
*Kayn stops pacing and looks in the camera.*
“This won’t happen again Keith. I promise you that. I didn’t give you the attention I should have. This is not to say you didn’t deserve it, it’s just to say I didn’t think I needed to.”
*Kayn starts to pace again.*
“Because you see, on paper, I felt I was the guaranteed win. Even during the match, after I kicked out of your first Wyle Style I thought I could take you. When we made this match, I also let my focus and guard down when we shook hands. Made a gentlemanly wager with you. While shaking your hand my mind was on this match coming up, not on what was going on in that ring. Once again, you caught me off guard and took advantage. But that’s all changed now Keith.”
*Kayn looks into the camera again and stares a hole through it.*
“You have my total and undivided attention. No jokes about mothers. No dressing up to make you look the part of the fool. No getting into your head. I am coming for you Keith. Straight ahead with my sights set on defeating you. And if I lose tonight, I will stand face to face with you in the ring and shake your hand, like a true man would after being defeated by a worthy advisary. The key word however, is IF. Because this time, it’s not a question of would or could defeat you. It’s now will. No questions about it.”
*Kayn stands for a few seconds looking into the camera, then walks out of the room and heads towards the ring.*
