Ash was there smiling and happy about it, he was spending quality time with his sister Christina and was forging a good friendship with CosetteOh don't worry about it Christina, there are plenty of meat dishes and noodles and soups and rice dishes, not all in Japan is sushi
In fact there are lots of other dishes besides sushi, and I know a good place were we could eat pretty well, however it's expensive, but since I know the owner, because I basically teamed with his son when I was starting in Japan, he'll make us a good price, so what do you say girls, want to come with me?

That was exactly what Cosette wanted to hear. And the fact that Ash was going to uses his international superstar sway to get them in somewhere exclusive, very impressive.
I thought you'd never ask. I was enjoying the show so much I didn't realize I was famished, so please lead the way. I think I trust your .

Ash smiled and they were soon in a restaurant, Ash was greeted by the manager. He and Ash shared some words. Much to the girls' amazement Ash spoke perfect japanese. The trio were soon linked to a good place where to have dinner.Well I hope you like this zone girls, by the way Cosette, I've asked the manager about Shinto temples and he told me that at this time they are closed. But don't worry we can go tomorrow morning to one Shinto temple, throw one coin and pray for peace in the world
So do you like this place they chose for us? Look it has some awesome Ikebanas.Ash points at the ikebanas that sorround themBy the way Cosette, I ordered the food while I spoke to the manager, and don't worry you'll be surprised with Japan's finest cuisine rather than common sushi While we wait... Do you mind I recite you girls a Haiku?Christina's face shows that she doesn't know what a Haiku isA Haiku is a short japanese poem Christina. Well here it goes:
"hatsu shigure saru mo komino wo hoshige nari"
Which translated to english means:
"the first cold shower even the monkey seems to want a little coat of straw "
I know translated loses all beauty doesn't it girls?

Meanwhile, a hot red Ferrari, blasting "Crazy Nights" by Loudness, drove up into the restaurant. It was "Wild Thing" James Bowen, dressed in tight leather pants and acid-washed blue denim jacket with multicolored fringe. James, who spoke very well in Japanese, went over to the manager.
James: Excuse me, sir, I will pay the tab for the Dixon family.
Manager: Are you sure, sir?
James gave him the money.
James: Yes, sir.
Manager: Okay, Mr. Bowen; while we take of that, let me bring you to a table.
James: Thank you.

Cosette just looks at him with her “thinking way too hard” face.
Well, in the original Japanese seems a fine example of the form. the verse seems a bit rough in English, but I suppose that's to be expected. I'm just still working through all the symbolism. Of course the monkey represents humankind as we know it. And well, I think we both know what a cold shower means

I think there's definitely something there, but maybe that isn't the kind of analysis this needs.
Maybe it's an eccentric artist seeking out some sort of solace against the confines society has imposed upon him.
Did you write it yourself?

Ash laughsNah Cosette I didn't write it by myself It's a haiku from Matsuo Bashō, I have his book.Meanwhile the food arrives, as Ash grabs a rice bowl and adds some fried eel onto it. The girls start eatingRemember that in Japan you must not leave any grains of rice in the dish, it gives bad luck. I know a little story of why no grains of rice must be left in the dish, if you girls wanna hear it, I'll be glad to tell you Ash then notices James thereWho is he? I think I have seen him somewhere.

Hey James!Christina waves hello at JamesAsh don't you remember it's James Bowen, that rocker guy who was at Keith Wyle's party, but I think you didn't saw him, your eyes were only on Cosette eh? Ash's face goes red as Christina elbows him in the chest playfullyWell I'll better start eating, by the way Cosette, you may wanna share some Shinto prayer with us. Althought maybe you don't since there's a "resubian" in the table Just joking Christina laughs at her joke, as she eats some tofu. Christina was always a fan of soy products

Mr. Lipman is seen walking along the sidewalk, when he suddenly sees the conversation and strolls over.

Ash kept eating the many delicious dishes that had been broughtSeems that the restaurant is filling up Cosette. Now the last thing I need is that Chet appears here.Ash eats some noodles and looks at CosetteKnowing Chet as I know him, he'd probably eat all the dishes or he'd start dancing or doing something stupid
By the way. Who is that army man there?

Well, if it's your military ...
Cosette said between bites. She looked up, to see Lipman.
Wait, I think I've seen him before too. Got in a bit of trouble trying to play knight in shining armor for me. Best make it look like we're enjoying each other's company.
She laughed a little at that (really wasn't necessary here) then looks over at their new guest.

Christina looks at Lipman and then answersOh yeah, I remember that guy too Cosette. I saw him doing a fool out of himself in that party. I hope that Craig Pittman wannabe doesn't annoy us.
By the way Cosette have you tasted the fried prawns? They taste delicious. Seriously the best prawns I've ever tasted. Well while I distract you with prawns, I am gonna grab some of this meatChristina tastes some meatMmm... It's chicken but tastes sweet! This food is awesome, thanks to you Ash, you pulled some strings Christina keeps enjoying her food

I know that it's night time and that we shouldn't drink exciting beverages before going to bedAsh was looking boring there, one of his main problems. Christina quickly elbows him in the chest playfullyBut... But I think that you girls might wanna see some of Japan's nightlife do you?
