-:-Jeff was at the local outdoor basketball courts lacing up his sneakers getting ready to shoot the ball around. He finishes tying his right shoe and grabbed the basketball that sat next to him. He began dribbling the ball around before taking any shots. After about two minutes of just dribbling around he dropped the basketball and began to stretch a little bit. This was part of his training for his match at Takedown also. He didn’t want to pull any muscles before his first major match. This was his rookie year. I mean all the other wrestlers probably wrestled in another major business, but not Jeff this was his first. He picked up the ball once more and dribbled toward the hoop. Once he got close to the hoop he took two steps and threw the ball up against the backboard and into the net. He grabbed the ball and dribbled away from the hoop. He turned around and took a jump shot. The ball hit the front of the rim, then the backboard and then fell into the net. He ran over and grabbed the ball once more. He continued to take more shots as he was warming up.-:- |

One of Jeff’s shots slipped off the rim and landed into the hands of Austin who was out to play basket ball as well. He then walks over to Rayne and hands him the basketball.
I believe this is yours kid.
Austin then grabs the basketball he had brought with him and takes a shot at the net. Once it landed in, he looked at Rayne.
You up for a game?
Austin regains the basket ball and begins dribbling it as he awaits a response from Jeff.[/i][/color]

-:-Jeff shots the ball once more. This time instead of making it, the ball hit the rim and began rolling away from Jeff. Then a man had picked up the ball and had brought it toward Jeff. The man was none other than Austin Harris. The man who would wrestle Ryan Blaze in a match to determine the number one contender for the PURE Championship. Then Austin had asked him to play a game of one on one basketball. Jeff began nodding his head up and down. He knew that he could beat him. Besides wrestling the two other things he loved to do was play basketball and soccer. Jeff took the ball from Austin and took another three-pointer. The shot went straight into the hoop. Nothing but pure net. Jeff kept his hands up in the air in the shot release position. He turned his head and looked over at Austin.-:-“Well Mr. Harris you for sure are on. You can take the ball out.” -:-Jeff had grabbed the ball and tossed it into the hands of Austin Harris. He had gotten into the defense position and waiting for Austin to begin the game.-:-

Austin began dribbling the ball as Jeff tried to take it away from him. He moved to the right side before Jeff takes the ball away from him and rushes to his net. He takes a shot and scores making it 2-0 Jeff.
Damn, you got some skills on the court man. Time to kick it up a notch.
As Austin was handed the ball, he began dribbling and ran to his net. He went for the dunk and was pushed down by Jeff. Jeff then grabbed the ball, ran to the net and scored a 2 pointer once again. Austin stood up and laughed.
Haha got me again kid….[/i][/color]

“I’m telling you Mr. Harris I don’t mess around when it comes down to basketball or soccer.” -:-The two begin playing once again. Finally Austin had managed to score to make it 8-2. Then all of a sudden after scoring that one basket Austin had started making a run. The score ended up becoming 16-8. Jeff was getting beat for the first time in a while.-:-.:20 minutes later:. -:-The game was tied at 20 and the game was to 21. Austin had the ball and began dribbling it toward the hoop. He tried to spin around Jeff but Jeff stuck his arm out and stole the ball away from him. He turned around and took a jump shot. He ball hit the rim and rolled around one time. The ball then fell into the hoop. The game was over and Jeff had won. He grabbed the ball and walked over to Austin. He shook his hand as he played a great game.-:-“22-20, man I didn’t think you could keep up but you did. But like I said when it comes down to playing basketball, soccer or wrestling in the ring I don’t mess around. You put up a good game though.” |

Yeah, your good at this man. Good game.
Austin grabs a water bottle and takes a few sips out of it.
I just thought of an idea man, mind following me…
Austin starts to talk to Jeff about something.. W couldn’t quite catch what they where saying…

“Alright yeah that sounds good to me. I think that is a great idea. You just get everything all settled and I’ll catch up with you later.” -:-The two shake hands. Jeff grabs the basketball and begins walking away. Tomorrow brings a new day.-:- |
