Like I said before, Kim...this was in the making since the start of the year. You didn't have anything to with it, trust me.
He takes a deep breath and looks at her with her eyes closed. She felt the same thing he did with their hands together as they were, but he knew she was right.
You feel this, don't you Kim? I'm not going anywhere. We can go slow, that's fine with me...no dead ends here, nothing like that. Just you and me.
Jon smiles and starts to get up from his seat, leading her up in the process...
Now, where does the covergirl wanna go to eat, hmm?

she kisses him on the lips softly and goes to the back of the cafe

The kiss, as soft as it was...was a very powerful thing. It all but sealed the deal for the most part. Jon follows her and holds Kim by the shoulders...
No, you look fabulous in that dress, Kim. Let's skip the movie and go straight to dinner, OK? Some place nice...just grab your stuff back there and we'll take my car, I know just the place.

im not much of a dress kinda girl but i guess i can stay in this one for a little longer
she grabed her things and followed jon to where he was leading her

Waiting not far from the Hard Rock was Jon's ride...one of them anyway. He's always been an afficianado of the classics and this '49 Chevy Fleetline was the oldest of his collection. Walking ahead he opens the passenger door for Kim.

Bouncing around in Detroit pretty much.
He starts the engine.
Saw it in a junkyard, and the guy was about to actually scrap it! Didn't even have to pay much to salvage this baby, then it was just a matter of getting it restored...or should I say "modified".
The dashboard was very un-vintage, complete with AC, digital speedometer and and an on board GPS system.
It's a work of art. I do know a beautiful thing when I see it after all.
Jon smirks as they speed off into the city night. The next destination...well, that's another story.
