*takes place after his meeting with the GM*
*As Kayn enters the gym for his normal workout, he decides he needs to step it up a notch to prepare himself for his match with Keith Wyle. He throws on his headphones, turns on his MP3 player and listens to the latest offering from the death metal group Cannibal Corpse, the aptly titled “Kill*” to get his adrenalin flowing as he gets on the treadmill and runs for about 15 miles, then adds an extra 3 just to up his endurance. By the time he is finished with his run he feels warmed up enough to hit the weights. His MP3 player changes over to the album “Deathrace King*” by the now defunct Swedish metal group The Crown as he adds more weight to a barbell and starts bench pressing the heaving weight bar. After multiple reps he places the bar on the bench and sits up, only to see someone standing next to him. He takes off his headphones and looks at the figure standing next to him…..*
*Yes, these are real bands and real albums. If you don’t own them, buy them. LOL

Jared stands next to Kayn, eyeing how much he has stacked on the bars. He look at him and says.
You think you might need a spotter for all that? Jeez, that's gotta be at least 550lbs you've got racked up. Training up for a match or to rimp someones limbs of??? *hehhehheh*
Jared awaits Kayn's response.

*Kayn looks at Jared for a few seconds before he responds*
"Actually I am training to make my place in this business. I am doing what I can to outlast someone who has taunted me. So if you're going to stand there and just watch in awe, do me a favor and please make sure I don't kill myself."
*With that, Kayn lays back down and starts to bench press the weights again*
"Sorry, I really don't mean to sound like an ass, I'm just trying to stay focused. What's your name kid?"
*Kayn keeps bench pressing while he waits for a response*

Jared responds.
The name's Jared Chase. I'm no rookie though. I've been at this for 5 years now. Had my ups and my downs. Been out of work the last year or so. A few indies here and there, but nothing major until XWA came calling. Now I'm here, and looking to build back what I lost, a credible career ina' company not run by money grubbing, power hungry assholes. And I can understand wanting to be focused. I'd want to be at my best as well if it meant putting that guy Wyle's foot in his mouth. Class act that joker is, isn't he?
Jared awaits Kayn's reply.

*Kayn keeps bench pressing the 600lbs barbell while he is talking*
"Sorry, force of habit. I call anyone younger than me kid. No disrepect meant. And as for Wyle, yes, he is a class A joker, but he does back up his words. He's a good athlete and he's a tough opponent, just in case you ever step in the ring with him, but just like all of us he has his flaws. So how are things going for you since you joined XWA?"
*Kayn puts the bar bell back on the bench, sits up and grabs a drink of his water, then waits for Jared's response.*

Jared begins to tape up his hands, prepared to go a few rounds with the speed bag. He responds.
I've got my eyes set on a few guys here. 1st and formost is this Osiris Alston guy. Just like Wyle, his mouth is a mile a minute. Seems to be the trend so far in XWA. Guys who seem to have talent flapping the gums. I wouldn't have it any other way. It makes it that much sweeter to make then eat there words after you beat there asses. From there who knows. Maybe the National Title. But 1st things first. 6 man Elimination match, that Me and Ryan still need a partner for. But there's no doubt we'll find someone. There's nothing but oppurtunity in XWA, which plays right to my advantage.

"That's absolutely true, there's tons of opportunity here, which is one of the main reasons I also joined. I’ve done the indy circuit for about 12 years, and while it helped me hone my skills, there wasn’t much in the way of rewards. So once I felt ready, I left and joined XWA, and the rest is history. And you’re right in saying most of these guys around here are just bags of hot air, but don’t under estimate any of them. I mean there’s a reason that Ms. Blackheart signed them, and I can tell you it’s not because of their pretty hair.”
*Kayn lies back down on the bench and starts to press the barbell that is now holding 650 lbs*
“However there are a ton of guys you can learn something from here too. Like the Simon Fierhart, or XXL. I mean those guys haven’t been in the game for so long just because. They’re good at what they do, and they have the experience under their belts to help guys like us that are new to this magnitude of the business make sure we don’t make the mistakes of some of the guys that aren’t here any longer. ”
*Kayn finishes his rep of 30 presses with a grunt as he puts the barbell back in it’s holder*
“I don’t know about you, but I don’t plan on going anywhere anytime soon. There’s a lot of good years left in me, and I hope one day to be the veteran that some of these guys are.”
*Kayn stands up and stretches his arms so that he doesn’t tear the muscle from the bone for his next set of rep with 675 lbs on the barbell*
“And don’t sweat the 6 man Elimination match, I’m sure whoever you choose to help you and Ryan will be able to keep up his part of the deal.”
*Kayn gets ready to start his weight lifting regimen again, but he decides to keep quiet so that Jared can finally get a word in*
