Food Before D.C. (o2a)

[Romeo Davis]

-After speaking with a couple people in the XWA, Romeo was on the walk again. He was still checking out what the XWA had to offer which simply put was a lot. This was the place to be. As he was walking down the halls he pulled out his ipod touch. He unraveled the ear bud string then placed the ear buds in his ears. He pushed the play button and “Speedin’” began to play into his eyes. He continued on his walk thorough the building. As he reached one end of the building he noticed a sign with the words “XWA Lounge” encrypted on the side. He thought it would be smart to grab something to eat before making his way to his next destination in Washington D.C., the nation’s capital. Before entering the lounge, Romeo watches as a man walks past the entrance. Romeo pulled the ear bud out of his left ear and began to speak.-

Yo. Can I ask ya something real quick?

Yeah sure, shoot.

Is the food in the Lounge good?

Yeah it is. Trust me on that. It’ll be well worth your money.

Aight cool thanks. Peace.

-With that the ear bud was placed back in his ear.-
-He pushed on the door and entered the Lounge. The moment he walked in he noticed that the place was nice. Just by the look of the place he knew that the food was going to be good or at least it better be. The ear buds were pulled out of his ears and the ipod wrapped again. He walked over to an empty table and took a seat. Within moment the waitress came over.-

Hey! My names Cassie and I’ll be your server. Can I start you off with a drink?

Yeah sure. Lemme get a Sprite. Yeah a Sprite will be good.

Alright, I’ll be right back.

-The waitress left and Romeo began looking though the menu deciding what he wanted to eat.-

I hear the steak is REALLY good here.

A surprise voice as TEN walked around the table and now in view of Romeo.

Mind if I have a seat, or do you have someone else coming to meet you?

She caressed left shoulder lightly with her right hand as she waited for Romeo to give his reply.[/i][/center]

[Romeo Davis]

-Romeo knew that voice and as he looked up he saw TEN standing beside the table. He would have thought that she wouldn't have talked to him again since he told her that his mother had bought a bottle of cologne for him. Anyways, she did end up walking into the lounge and asked if she could take a seat. So Romeo as the polite guy he is answered back to her with a yes.-

I don't mind if ya take a seat TEN. No I'm not waiting for someone else to join me. The seat is yours. So, you heard the steak is real good hear eh? Well I was thinking of getting that.

-Romeo places the menu down on the table.-

So, TEN, what's good? I have to tell ya that you did real good in your match earlier tonight. Even though it was on the losing end, you still made it to the final two which to me is real good because I know it's hard to enter six females into once match and come out with the victory. With your skills, it'll be no time before ya rack up a bunch of wins.

TEN takes her seat at the table. She takes a drink of water from the glass that was sitting on the table. She looks up at Romeo.

Oh I know. That's why I'm not worried about these losses. Anything with more than 1 person is considered to be a crap shoot. Last week, I dominated my opponents but lost because my kick couldn't reach far enough. Don't ask me how that happened because I have no idea.

I know my skill is now up there with the higher up Diamonds. I just need to get a few singles wins under my belt and I can go for a title...Maybe. We'll see.

-The waitress had come back with Romeo’s Sprite. She placed it down on the table before him.-

Thanks.

Are you two ready to order?

Not yet, can you give us like five?

-The waitress then nodded her head and went off with her business.-

Yeah, I’m pretty sure you’ll get a bunch of those singles match wins. I agree with ya, those multi-person matches are pretty much the getting lucky in matches. I mean there is skilled involved too but also luck.

My skills. Ha. Me I’m more of the technical brawler to be exact. I learned my technical skill over in Rome when I was over there. I learned my brawling skills when I was in college. I did it as a side thing ya know. Those are the only real skills I know ‘bout right now though. I haven’t been in a real match so far so I will soon learn them as I go along. So with that, my plans are to go into every match and do my thing. I just wanna make a name in the business. I’m gonna go through and see where it takes me.

-Romeo then lifts up the cup of Sprite and takes a sip. He then places back down the table.-

So are you gonna get anything?

Yea, I just have to see what all that they have. I'll eat depending on what mood I'm in and what I'm in the mood for. What do you plan on getting?

I’m gonna get the 12 ounce steak with a baked potato and Caesar salad as the sides. It sounds like a good meal to me so I’m gonna try it.

-Romeo slides the menu over to TEN so she could decide what she wanted to eat.-

-Five minutes later the waitress returns to take the order of TEN and Romeo.-

So, what can I get for you two?

I’ll have the 12 ounce steak well done and for my two sides I’ll take the baked potato and Caesar salad. Thanks.

-The waitress then turns over to TEN and waits for her response.-

[Trouble*]

As the waitress takes their order, Ryan slips into the lounge unnoticed. He's sporting himself a plain black shirt with a plaid shirt over top. The tops are tucked into some regular semi-faded blue jeans. Covering his feet are regular black shoes. He makes his way to an empty booth, relatively near TEN and Romeo and awaits a waitress.

In the mean time he pipes up.

How are you folks doing?

[Romeo Davis]

-Romeo watches as Ryan Blaze walks into the lounge and takes a seat at an empty booth near him and TEN. Romeo still waits for TEN to make her decision on what she wanted to eat. As he was waiting, Ryan begins speaking to the two.-

I’m good man. I’m just chillin’ out grabbing some food here with TEN before I head over to D.C. for March Madness. How you doing?

Great. Another interruption. This was starting to get on TEN's nerves. It was impossible to get intimate with anyone with other people constantly popping up everywhere. She now sat there annoyed. She looked over at the waitress.

I'll take an order of Whiskey for now.[/center]

[Trouble*]

Alright. Pissed to the limit that I blew my chances in the X-Gen battle royal, but all is good. I'm actually just stopping in to grab myself a quick soda and then I too am off to D.C.

[Romeo Davis]

-Romeo had looked back over at TEN and she seemed angry for some reason. Romeo could tell by the look in her eye and by her ordering Whiskey.-

TEN, are you alright?

-Ryan then replied to Romeo. He listened then replied back.-

Yeah man, loses are tough especially when there is a chance for a title in the end. I’m sure you’ll bounce back though.

[Trouble*]

The waitress approaches Ryan, pen and paper in hand.

Can I take your order?

Uh, yeah, can I get a Pepsi?

Alrighty...glass o-

Nah...Can I get that in the bottle?

Uhm..sure.

She heads off to the back to grab him a bottle while he waits patiently. He too could feel TEN's tension rising.

[Romeo Davis]

-As Romeo was waiting for a response from TEN, he started to figure out what was going on. She kind of got that way when they first met up backstage. There were a bunch of people who showed up backstage when she and Romeo were talking which probably agitated her a bit. Now the two were having some food and Ryan walked in. But if she did then why did she hate Romeo when he said he got the cologne from his mom? Hmm…Romeo didn’t know. Maybe she did, maybe she didn’t. Romeo was just going to wait and she what she would say to him when she responded. But for now he quickly looked over at Ryan and asked him a quick question while he waited for an answer from TEN.-

Hey man, March Madness is coming up soon. Who you wanna take on at the big show?
