Andrew takes a seat towards the middle of the XWA Lounge located in 11 Penn Plaza. For the last few weeks, he'd taken a few up and coming stars under his wing, training them for either debuts or comebacks in XWA. While he was pleased with the way things were going, he wished he had more time to work with a few of them. But he knew that sometimes the best lessons are learned on the fly. Sitting in front of him, a tall cup of "Joe" and a lightly buttered bagel.
*Sigh* Seems like forever since I've been able to sit down and have a nice cup of coffee. I gotta admit, retired life isn't as bad as I thought it'd be. That and I'm actually getting to show some of the young bucks how it's done. Hell of a lot more then I'da been doin' wastin' away up north. Still, I wouldn't mind another round against Aries. Jackass or not, he's a trooper. Can't help but to respect that.
Andrew soon finds himself joined by another at his table.
Well hello there.

Taking a seat next to Andrew is Lisette Montiero, XWA's newest Diamond "In Training". Since signing her contract, she decided to take the opportunity to learn a few tricks from a bonafide legend. She gives him a smile as she joins him at his table.
"Hey coach. It's nice to see you're not a hardass 24/7. But I guess you have to be with some of the others. I just want to thank you so much for taking the time to help out a TRUE rookie like me. I can't even begin to tell you how nervous I am. I mean you've got some ladies with some real life long experience, and here I am just making the jump into being a wrestler. I'm just hoping not to trip over myself let alone win my first match."
Lisette shows an obvious look of concern. Perhaps she was having doubts about her talent as a wrestler. Perhaps it was just her nerves getting the better of her. She waits to her what her mentor has to say.

Andrew gives her an encouraging smile as he responds.
Hey now, that's no way to think of things. You've gotta be about the most gifted gal I've ever seen in a ring. And I've seen some of the best. You take to the ring like a duck to water, Liz. You've got nothin' to worry about. Just try not to get caught up in doing to much, just go out and do your best. The rest will come with time.
He takes a sip of his coffee. Before taking a bit of his bagel he adds...
Oh, and by ALL FREAKIN' MEANS, DON'T get caught up with one of these hot shot, testosterone driven punks running around. You're a beautiful and talent girl. You've got style, grace, and I gotta say one killer physique. Some of these young guys are gonna see you as nothin' but a piece of meat. So don't fall into the trap.

Lisette can't help but laugh at Andrew's warning. If there was one thing she did know, it was that women in the industry were most of the time looked at as "eye candy". She gives him a nod as she words her reply.
"Oh don't you worry. The LAST thing I'm gonna get is caught up with one of these guys looking for an "arm ornament". Get with a hot chick just to help bolster your career. Not this chica. But I will admit, that Evan Fate cat is pretty hot."
She laughs. Cautious as she was, she WAS in fact a single young woman. And like most women her age, she had a healthy affection for a really cute guy, even if he may be out of her reach.

Andrew raises an eyebrow to Lisette's last comment. Time to burst her bubble. He ALSO just so happens to be married with a 1 year old son. I know, the cute ones are always taken. He gives her a playful wink, and takes another sip of his coffee.God damn that's some good coffee.

Lisette gives Andrew and inquisitive look.
"He is? Really? Damn. Lucky girl, that man is FOINE!!!"
She sees Andrew giving her the "stern father" look.
"Ok, ok, ok. Kidding. *giggle* I know where my head needs to be. And looking at guys isn't on that list. Got it. Speaking of guys, where the hell are "The Dynamic Duo" as you like to call them. Man, you sure do work those two's asses off. It's almost like you have grudge against them or something."

Andrew was halfway done with his bagel. He sets it down to answer Lisette's question.
Who, Shane and Alex? Probably nursing there wounds. I take it out on them harder then everyone else because I know what kind of potential they have. As singles competitors AND as a tag team. Problem is they're young and STUPID. More inclined to chase skirts and party then get there asses in the gym and train. That's why they could never buy a win. Hard to focus on a match when you're nursing a 5 day hangover. I was the same way back in my 20's. I thought I was the man. Untouchable. Then me and my best friend Elai got our asses handed to us by these two guys Snizz and Fondu. Pair of real hard up nut jobs from out of Vince Fate's camp. Had to have been the worse ass kicking I've taken in my career. That match put things all in perspective. It was a guy named Milton "Big Bear" Willis who pulled me to the side and set me straight. He passed away last year, but he was outside of my pop the most influential man in my wrestling career. I can only hope to do for those two knuckleheads what Bear did for me.
Andrew stops for a moment.
Look at me monologuing. Man, I AM old. *heh heh heh*
