The elevator doors swing open and Lionheart steps out. Taking a seat near the window he browses the menu for something to eat, but finds nothing of interest.
He raises a hand to his heavily bandaged head, tracing the wounds on his forehead and his re-opened eyebrow scar. It had been awhile since anyone had busted him open, or cheap shotted him to the extent that Enrique had at Mayday. The last time was the previous July, which caused him to wear the face protector. Back then he was equipped to the teeth with submission moves, and he wasn't defeated as easily as he was at Mayday.... Perhaps a return to form was in order?
Maybe not. Old habits die hard, but he also know that sometimes people have to grow out of their initial surroundings, or they will stagnate and eventually die.

Enrique walks up to Lionheart, and takes a seat across from him, and sees him checking out his bandage.

Lionheart decides on a plain glass of water, and sends the waitress off to bring it to him.
A few weeks ago, I lost a company to compete in when the former owners ran into the troubles. I couldn't run TNB as a stand alone company, at least not on a week-to-week basic. That's why I'm trying for the monthly PPV distrubution deal. When that happened, the little progress I had made towards reparing the hurt feelings between Christian Black and I were thrown out the window. He really hates me for closing TNB just as he was getting rolling. I know because he dropped me with a punch after our last Pay Per View was done. He was my first tag team partner, and the relationship has soured. That was my fault I suppose, but I can't do anything about it now.
I also lost a title of my creation, the King of Crimson title. And to a low-life like Prime. Honestly I can't believe it. But that is, of course, your fault - when you busted me open and made me the first man eliminated from the match. But I've not called you up here to fire you from your TNB contract. I've not even called you up here to call you out for a fight.
I think back over my various attempts at tag team wrestling. 'The Black Heart's with Christian Black, when I turned on him. The abysmal lack of synergi that my trainer Keith Williams and I showed in one of those big GoLions Tournament. How my bingo hall partner, Ms. Snow, perfered to have been a manager up on the A show once we lost the tag team belts. How my second bingo hall tag partner was a complete waste of space who simply rode my coat tails, and when I left him behind, Shane Storm continued to flake out on every company that hired him. My debut match on the A show was as part of a tag team with a little Jungle Fever. She had the claws and I had the hunter attitude. Unfortunately she didn't have the killer instinct, and never returned my calls. Lets see now... the old 'The New Blood' group, in it's various forms, eventually fizzled out. Call it a lack of commitment to the cause, or an absence of loyalty... it's a shame, that one, but oh well.
So as you can see, Mr. Enrique, it seems that every time I go looking for a tag team partner, every time I truely gave tag teaming, and trusting another wrestler, a chance, they all fuck me over in the end. That's something I wish to change. I'm tired of always having to watch my own back, and keep looking over my shoulder, wondering who's out to undercut me in the ring and behind the curtain yet again. Wondering who's only standing behind me, patting me on the back, because they're looking for the soft spot to dig the knife in at a later date.
Lionheart's water arrives, and he takes a long drink.
The reason I've called you up here, is because I see a little bit of myself in you. Don't take that as an insult, or a showcasing of my ego. What I mean is that you have the passion I have. Or rather I had before all the bullshit in Ohio, and all the politics - that Shit gets old fast. The busted me open in the King of Crimson match in the same way you busted me open by hitting my head off the War Games cage. Thanks for that, by the way, that's the shot that re-opened my eyebrow scar. But you did it to secure yourself the spot in the final WarGames match. It's that kind of attitude that I admire. Kindof like when I won another company's Hardcore Title, and competed in and won a tournament to crown a Lord of the Ring, all in the same night. And it's not just that, oh no, don't you think for one second that I haven't been keeping a watchfull eye over all of the former TNB wrestlers that have come here. You are arguably the one guy who flys the TNB flag high and takes pride in the fact that you came from there. You respect what the company did for you, the opportunities it afforded you. In this fucked up wrestling business where backstabbing, lying, crying and egos run rampant, a little bit of respect for a company that I worked my ass off to run for two damn years, is all I ask.
Lionheart finishes his water.
With all that being said... what do you think about me and you as a tag team?

Enrique looks over at Lionheart, and smiles.
You probably heard this before but “I never forked anybody over in my life didn't have it coming to them. You got that? All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break them for no one. Do you understand?” you can also add TNB in those sentences. So the answer is Fuck yeah, me and you can take this on by surprise.
Enrique puts his hand out to Chris to officially start the first tag team that comes out from TNB.
I know that you have had great partners in the past and for me to probably catch up with there greatness, it’s going to take a while but for the record I will catch up and I will over overpass the expectations, so from here on I will have your back man, you can count on that.
