After the match had ended, Hayley immediately went over to Aiyanna and began to help her up. She put up one hell of a fight in the match...showing that she was very much a proud warrior. She didn't hold anything back, that's a good thing.

~/~A loss. She wasn't that ring smart. She didn't think she'd do as well as she did against the woman she considered a friend. However, a loss was a loss and to a warrior, that did something to their pride. She was taking down with a knee to the face. She had survived both of Hayley's specialities. But was taken out with a knee to the face? That didn't exactly set great in her mind. Her eyes faltered slightly as she gripped Hayley's hand tightly as she was pulled up from the canvas with her help. The crowd was cheering loudly at the show between the two ladies and even more so at the aftermath sportsmanship. It took a few moments before a very faint smile crossed her face as she stared into Hayley's eyes, nodding very slowly to her.~/~

Both of them standing on their feet now, Hayley raises Aiyanna's arm to the Charlotte crowd who cheer most appreciatively, not just to the display they showed during the match, but the one being shown afterwards.
Roach: Now will you look at that. That's some sportsmanship right there.
BuZZ: Dude...don't you mean sportsWOMANship?
Roach: You get the idea. These two left it all in the ring literally, and are now showing respect to each other and this capacity crowd.
BuZZ: Yeah...I didn't know Hayley had it in her. HellCat's going SOFTEEE!!!
Roach: Oh shut up, Buzz...
BuZZ: Make me. Thumb wrestle ya' right now, biatch!!!

~/~She smiled brightly as she looked out towards the roaring crowd. These people that packed the arena paid to see this match and all the others. They paid to watch the warrior's of the XWA go at it. Nothing but pride was on the line in this ring and when it was all over, that was it. But there were rare times when both the winner and the loser would celebrate together. This was one of those times. All she could do was smile at this moment. She slowly looked to Hayley.She could hear the faint arguements of Buzz and Roach, but that mattered not to her.~/~

She felt somewhat honored at the notion of it. In her mind Aiyanna really didn't need much fine tuning as far as fending for herself in the ring, but it was of course the out of the ring part that had concerned Carmella and in the few days they had spent together, herself. The young girl was unique in so many ways, and it was actually starting to grow on her.
