Del Rio is without question the most successful foreign wrestler they ever had, and the key to that success is the gimmick he has isn't cliche, compared to the other Mexican wrestlers they had before (we'll not count Rey or Eddie because they're Mex-American).
Two things are going to tell the story of Sin Cara, the first like has been said is how he's used. It looks like WWE is going to be putting him out there immediately, straight to the roster without any FCW time. So the question is where will he go, and who will he face when he gets there. I would rather see him on RAW as that would minimize the chance of them putting him anywhere near Rey or ADR, which I agree they shouldn't.
The next, in all truth, is him. I said it on CAWS.ws, he has to get the fans behind him. We know the WWE fans are going to eat his wrestling style up like it was candy, but his mics skills have to be at least decent as well if they're going to make him into the next foreign sensation. If those two things work out, then Sin Cara can make just as big of an impact as Del Rio.

I'm a huge Del-Rio mark. Love the guy. Love the set up he's had. Love his in-ring ability. Love the mic work. But most of all;
Love the smile.
Million dollar smile baby lol
If the new stereotypical ethinic wrestler guy can end up getting things going in anyway shape or form LIKE Del-Rio without COPYING Del-Rio?
I'll be sold.

Del Rio is where he is right now because he can talk and he has the look. He looks and carries himself like a main eventer and talks like one. I think it's a bit naive if Sin Cara thinks he'll be successful in WWE just because Del Rio is successful regardless of what he can do in the ring.
Wrestling ability can get you over, but it's the talkers who sell. If he can talk he'll be on his way to possibly being groomed for a world title.
