Just put your John Hancock on the dotted line here and eeeeeeverything will be taken care of.
Notice the emphasis on the word everything. This was not a man to be trusted. Not one single bit. There should have been a warning signal going off in Embers' brain to not sign anything, but...

...all he could think was money and a phone. Without even a bit of hesitation or reading over the papers, he signs his name. So where's my phone?

Exactly how badly did this kid need a phone he asked himself. No bother. Smith got up from his seat as he shook his head and walked over to a specific painting hanging from a wall. A flick of a nearby switch and the painting slid to the side to reveal a safe. A few seconds later, he keys in the number code to open in and inside as you could imagine was a lot (and I mean a LOT) of cash. He pulls out 7 fresh, clean 100 dollar bills and offers it to Embers. There's that should be enough to get you something. Consider this a cash advance. Don't go spending it all in one place now.
In the meantime, Mr. Embers...welcome aboard.

Seven hundred dollars!? Wrestling in XWA gets better and better. A pleasure doing business. He doesn't take his eyes off the money obviously impressed. I'll catch ya later computer man. I got some shopping to do. With that, Michaels leaves Smith's office. If Smith wants to contact him he'll probably know where to find him. But now was time for some phone and game shopping.
