Not exactly sure if this is true or not, but if this is, I think TNA just shot themselves in the foot with this "They" storyline they've been running which even the roster of TNA has taken shots at them for.
For those who don't know, the rumor was that TNA was going to revive MEM to feud with Immortal. Which seems pretty impossible now since Booker T is with WWE(as a coach of Tough Enough and possibly feuds with main eventers) and so is Nash. And now add Sting to the mix? I think Stinger will do just fine because WWE's slower style is perfect for him and even if he doesn't get a world title I don't see him being buried. Vince may be stubborn, but he's a businessman first and Sting is money.

The did run a vignette on RAW this past Monday a few times of some dark figure in a trench coat walking in the rain, with the date 2/21/11 appearing at the end. Everyone assumed it was going to be him on the XAT chat I was on. Guess this all but confirms it. I NEVER thought I'd see the day when Sting stands in a WWE/F ring.
Nash said it on his Twit: "If it's your last hoorah, you want to go out as a Yankee". My assumption is that all three of them, Nash, Book & Sting feel the same way.
Now, I firmly believe Angle will come back to WWE when his TNA contract is up.

A lot of people I know thought it was Taker because I think it was the arena for Elimination Chamber advertised the return of Taker.
I know a lot of people are figuring a Taker vs Sting feud, but Taker supposedly handpicked Barrett to be his opponent at WM. And with it being a one year deal between WWE and Sting, I'm wondering who he might feud with in that time.

I'm not going to get a whole lot of popularity points for this, buuuut Sting needs to retire. Nash needs to retire. Booker is okay, but not for much longer. TNA is WCW V.2 with older superstars clinging to glory that they no longer can replicate. Don't get me wrong, there are some matches/PPVs of TNA that are God damn amazing and entertaining. But... all in all, it's just too much of a rehash for me. I am quite disappointed Angle is still there. I'm hoping he eventually comes over. IF it is indeed Sting signing? I give him two years tops before being gone. And I don't mean gone as in gone just from the company. I mean gone as in retired. I loved watching Sting in WCW. In his glory days. Those days have long since passed. Sure it's a nice mark-y mark-y moment. Hell, when Booker T's music hit during the Rumble I jumped out of my damn seat and started flipping out in spastic joy. But that doesn't mean I have the belief of a long time career ahead of him. Nash said it best when WWE.com interviewed him. He has a lot more days behind him, than left in front of him.

I wouldn't mind Nash on commentary replacing Cole. Though I'd take just about anyone over Cole.
Sting, I think this might be a retirement run, and why he finally signed with WWE.

For some reason, if Sting is indeed signed to more than just a backround-old-Legend-still-needs-money gig.
I kinda wanna see CM Punk VS Sting. Big Punk fan, and used to be big Sting fan. Clashing styles, all that jazz.

Shame HBK retired, cause I would have been interested in a HBK vs Sting or just an Icon vs Icon match.

Now that, I definitely agree with.
I do like the fact that HBK is honoring it though. But yeah, a HBK/Sting match would have been pretty damned cool. Especially if both were just a taaaad younger. Not like early early days but just maybe by a couple years or a bit more. Would have be fucking epic.

I'm still iffy on this, on the TNA website Sting is still on the roster. I'm thinking this could go either way.
/Side-note, was I the only one who almost had a stroke of boredom when Matt showed up and joined Immortal? Ugh... here's hoping 'THEY' destroy the whole God damn stable./

I wouldn't trust the TNA website. They had Christopher Daniels on there after he left. It seems very rarely given the updates it needs.

I knew about it from reading it on CAWs.ws, so I wasn't surprised, but I honestly didn't GAF either. Matt needs to go somewhere & retire.

Well, technically Daniels is still with TNA, or back in TNA I should say. He's the "new" Suicide there. But anyway, this is a lot like the 1 year deal that did with Bret Hart last year, assuming it is signed and sealed. I heard that Vince wanted to induct Sting into the Hall Of Fame, which I guess would prompt the desire to have Sting appearing on WWE programming before hand. I guess we'll all get the answer on the 21st though.

Bah, seriously? HOF? Super idea. Maybe then Sting can go and destroy the ring like Hogan did too. Wicked cool.
/For fuck sake, we need the Goddamn 'PG' bullshit to end so we can have some legitimate and SUSTAINED entertainment -- Otherwise I'm saying fuck it to the lot of them and going back to watching NJPW and Joshi stuff lol/
