Now, the move itself, the gogoplata that is, is quite dangerous. It could cause all kinds of internal troubles to a person if applied with full force. That was not the case in this instance, as Hayley did let up, but yet there was obviously some bloody consequence for her victim.
Safety first. That's what they preached in the MMA gyms she trained at. Do it to the point where you're opponent has to submit. Do it to the point where the ref has to stop it. Don't do it to cause harm or injury. Again, that was the plainly apparent result of her actions right now, and it was the first time she drew blood from it since she learned the move.
If she wanted, she could have done much worse, but she didn't because she could tell from Lilith's speed, or lack of it, that she was out of it. Out of shape, out of practice, whatever it was she had before, it wasn't there anymore. At least not for now.
I guess that's what they meant when they say biting off more than you can chew...
So all that was left now was Hayley, this new guy, and the remains of a damn good pair of headphones. She shook her head and kicked them to the side. Someone from maintenance would clean it up. She looks over briefly to the newcomer as she starts walking again.
