I know I've probably posted this once before, but for the benefit of the newcomers:
Jon Payne was first created in the first SVR game. The previous SD game was the one and only appearance in game of a gentleman named Sean O'Haire. I'm sure you're all familiar with him, former WCW Tag Team Champion, came into WWE with a lot of hype and a slick gimmicj before the writers made him a bit player in the whole Hogan/Piper/McMahon feud (ah WWE, when WILL you start to use your talent better?). Anyway, I loved his look and his style in the ring, and when O'Haire wasn't added to SVR (and subsequently released), I did what any good Original CAW maker would do...make a rip-off, lol.
The first version Payne had the closest thing to those spider web tattoos on his wrists as I could make and short tights, basically looking a lot like O'Haire's gimmick and fighting as such as well, mixing martial arts and wrestling (a trait he'd carry up until THQ fucked that up the year). He was actually not going to make the cut in 2006 until I decided to make a new version just for kicks. I wound up liking how he looked so I stuck with him.
Then I heard of VWE, and like many before and even more after, I joined up...but not without MUCH deliberation as to who I would use. Payne was certainly NOT my first pick, but unlike others I've made whom people on CAWS.ws are familiar with such as Togo or Faith or even Riot, Payne was pure. He was how you say generic in that I could pretty much make him into whattever character I wanted because he reallly had no backstory beforehand, he was just a CAW I made to fill up my card...and wound up becoming one of my most effective CAWS as well as one of the most well-known efed wrestlers in the process.
Hayley Jonas contrary to popular belief was NOT made to be an Ashley Massaro rip-off. In actuality I was trying to make a female CAW that resembled Stacie "Fergie" Ferguson of The Black Eyed Peas. She just wound up looking a lot at least as far as attire goes so much like Ashley that I just decided to roll with it. Nowadays she has the baggy "betty" look to her, which is inspired a great deal from Lita and SSX3's Allegra.
Amber Gianni's inspiration was pretty freaking obvious, just look at her sig, you'll figure it out. Last year, rather that make her appearance spot on and release and Aria Giovanni CAW, I changed up juuuuuuust a few details and made her a kind of "Aria starring as" deal. Took a good long while for me to get her face as close as I have now to the 2006 version, in my opinion, I think she looks better this year.

I wonder if I could post my most up-to-date Lionheart bio, and it would get discussed, without some people throwing a hissy fit over some of the things that have transpired in it...

I first created myself on the very first game that ever did CAWs, WWF War Zone in 1998. Since then, I got every game that gives me the opportunity to create myself and compete with the roster each game had.

Well, I guess I'll finally post in this thread. Since I have quite a few characters that have made their appearance in the E-Fed universe.
Michael Xavier: The inspiration behind Michael stemed from 2 people. The first was a character from Killer Instinct named Cinder(Michael's previous ring name). From that rose his affinity for fire(which I happen to have. And no, I don't burn stuff down, You'll just find me near bonfires and camp fires when they are out. And if fires aren't around, then I'm around something that generates heat, unless its Summer(which also explains why I hate Winters but LOVE Summers)). Of course, there was only a few times that Michael has taken the Fire affinity to extremes, but its always played an instramental part(IE: Michael burning down his apartment after Jessica Hart ran out on him.)
The 2nd part, was derived from Triple H's attitude, during the attitude era from WWE. Triple H has always been one of my all time favorites and the majority of the time(or I try to) have that attitude be reflected.
Of course, Michael has now come into his own and adopted his own attitude. As a veteran of the ring, he expects a certain respect because of his veteraness. Michael is now more laid back than he was in the past, but can still hold a temper if the situation calls for it.
Anthony Xavier: To be honest, I'm not sure where the inspiration for Anthony came from. He originally started off as a Vampire character, but as the months, and years went on, the vampire gimmick dropped. From there, been trying to figure out how to have Anthony. But I think I finally have him set as a more business type. Money smart and such, ala JBL but not as much of an asshole, well, depending on who he hangs around with. That will quickly determine his alignment.
Michael Volcano: Based off myself. Attitude and such reflects how I tend to be in real life. Nothing more than that.
VIP: As everyone knows, VIP was my version of MVP, but more sportsy as shown by the LENGTHY bio that I've written for him. Though I haven't RP'd with VIP for awhile, his attire might be more IRSish, he still carries the MVPish attitude. So if he does appear again, expect to see that heelish attitude.

I first created Xath in "Here comes the pain", I made him like a insanely buff verison of Randy Orton, with blue jeans and a black shirt, I usually made him just because of a joke, but if I did story, I used him.

This is the first e-fed I've never joined, but this isn't the first time I've role-played with people. I've been part of a LiveJournal/MSN RP for the last three years playing the role as your "Nature-Loving Princess,"the Celadon City Gym Leader, Erika from Pokemon. Everyone starts somewhere, yes? There's been two loves in my life: 1) Pokemon 2) Professional Wrestling. Both of which still exist to this very day, and I just turned nineteen on December 10th. I didn't know e-feds existed until around six months ago, when I decided to start showcasing my original caws on caws.ws. I discovered the XWA when I accidentally clicked in the banner in 3X's signature. I've been making caws since WCW/NWO Revenge. I know, that doesn't necessarily have a caw-mode, but it has an edit mode, and I would constantly edit the colors of my favorite WCW wrestlers. From there I moved to WWF No Mercy, which actually had a caw mode, and began my whole "originals" brigade. Then from No Mercy, I jumped to WCW Mayhem, hated the restrictions, moved back to No Mercy, then got a PS2, and started creating originals for the Smackdown series. Only every now-and-then do I create an actual wrestler, I usually hate having to restrain myself to having to make something look exactly like it's real-life counterpart. Anyways, I've only been creating Addison Grey since SvR '07. She was originally inspired by my good friend Victoria. Victoria isn't insane, she doesn't have multiple-personalities, she just likes dressing in plaid, and usually purple plaid for that matter. I just thought that was funny, and thus, she was created. She doesn't know this however. So hush, don't tell her. When I created Addison in '08, I completely re-did her face, so she doesn't even resemble Victoria anymore. However, this might change when I decide to create her on my PS2 version of Smackdown vs RAW 2008, since I like her face morphing from last year more then her face morphing I used for her 360 version. Darko was inspired by Vampiro, the Joker, and the red M&M from the M&M commercials. Vampiro from his ICP days had awesome face paint, I tried to imitate that. The Joker is my favorite evil clown, from my favorite comic, Batman. And hell, the red M&M is just awesome. So, Darko's awesomeness originates from that circular little wonder. I've been creating variations of Darko since No Mercy. He's gone through name changes, gimmick changes, and personality changes. But I think I've finally settled for how I wanted him to look like. Valeria, you'll have to ask Ed. He created Valeria. As for some of my other caws:Pleasure Pleasure: From Bang Camaro's song, "Pleasure Pleasure." That was solely their inspiration, nothing more, nothing less, other than competing with Ed. Clasico: Based off a friend of mine, Cruz. I've usually created him as a non-masked luchadore, but since last year, I decided to mask him. Boston*: My favorite television show, "Gilmore Girls" has an actress named "Alexis Bledel." I based her off of her, since I love her. <3 Sarah Kennedy: Been creating her since JBI, but under a different alias, "Tera Ryzing," since I was a Triple H fan, and I looked up his history one morning, and found he had a funny name at one point. I used it for Sarah. She's gone from being a ditsy blonde, to a purple-clad goth, to everyone's favorite brunette, to a punk rocker. I've only had her go by her 'real' name "Sarah Kennedy" since SvR '07, since I felt I needed to repackage her if I wanted to showcase her. Alice Mascara: She's probably the only caw to have originated from Fire Pro Wrestling 1, for the GBA, and she's only gone by the name "Alice Mascara" since SvR '07, since like Kennedy, I felt I needed to repackage her if I wanted to showcase her. Before last year's Smackdown game, she was known as "Mistress Vampyris," and based off my cousin Ashley. Now she's just your typical vampire. Marvin Dean (MD) Funk: One of my best friends from high school, Marvin. I didn't make him until SvR '06, where he was known as some silly name I can't remember at the moment. Akemi Nakamura: She's a Japanese breakdancer. I've only started making her this year. Originally, she was going to be a superhero named "Super Kaiser" but I couldn't come up with any unique attire ideas. XD; Shelby Steele: My English teacher said the name "Shelby Steele" in class one day, I can't remember the reason, but I couldn't get the name out of my head, the idea just flew from there. Been creating her since '08. Andre Young: Needed a Khali killer. Made him in '07 under the alias "Tony Roslyn," but decided to change his name when my brother started playing some song on his computer. Rolf Clark: Picture the jockiest jock at your old/current high school, then age him another 25 years, and you have "The Wolf" Rolf Clark. XD; Since JBI. Ancarnage: Tag-team I've been making since No Mercy. Until last year, they've just been known as "Blitzkrieg and Rave." Then I asked one of my friends from Alaska for a cool tag-team name, and while he was playing with words he eventually said "Ancarnage," and I was like, "That's it!" Nathan Hinojosa: Lawl, me. Since the time you can edit Rick Steiner's colors and name in WCW/NWO Revenge. XD;

Might as well give up some info on the whole brigade of CAWS so far myself, aside from Payne, Hayley and Amber above. This pertains to the CAWS I've created fully for either my own use or others as well. Tyson Terra- Inspired roughly by Tyson Tomko and Andrew "Test" Martin. He was made as a "big" heavyweight-that being a power style wrester who isn't a super heavy, like others such as Lashley and Lance Hoyt. If I ever could make inkwork even close to Tomko's, that would be Tyson's. Goliath- Play the awesomeness that is Urban Reign for the PS2 and midway through you'll be introduced to a muscled up freak named Golem. Pretty easy to see the resemblance between him and this giant. Shinsou- Uh, any Japanese wrestler wearing all white? One that stands out used to be in WWF/E named Hakushi. I really loved his look. There was also a legend character in another fed named Edge Masamune who's design I liked as well (he too, like Hakushi-wore all white). *Note- Fans of the anime/manga "Bleach" will note Shinsou is the name of Gin Ichimaru's zanpakuto (soul cutting blade). His finisher name "Ikorose" is the command that Gin uses to release the sword's power-translating in English to "Shoot To Kill" or "Shot To Death".Channelle- Nicole "Coco" Austin. Rapper Ice-T's wife...I must say she has nice, um...assets? I'm trying to be PC here but Google her. Really. You'll thank me later. Kristal Allan- Lose the "L" in her first name and there you go. Actress Krista Allan. Sonya Robbins- Nude Centerfold model/occasional adult actress Ashley Robbins (see her sig) Syrus Sykes- At first he was a rip of MVP, right down to the "Power Ranger" type attire, but since then it was decided that he takes a more Shelton Benjamin-ish kind of look as far as his ring gear goes. The afro was Sylk's idea though after watching some matches of Pro Wrestling NOAH's Mohammed Yone (think a Japanese Carlito, lol). Dawned on him that not too many dudes rock the fro in wrestling (black dudes anyway ) so there you have it. That's just all the more recent work. I'll be back again with the rest of them.

Well and like one of my characters says: That are my two cents ;D Sumya: When I first made Sumya she was gonna be a complete Elena rip off, the Capoeira Kenyan girl from Street Fighter 3. I tried to make her a super babyface in TNB, but failed Then I decided to give her a brand new personality and heel Sumya was born, heel Sumya is based basically in Ernest "The Cat" Miller, in his beginings when he didn't danced and boasted about being The Greatest, but in the end he was a lousy coward, and he also was a guy who could make the crowd boo the heck out of him by speaking with the mic. Well pretty much like Sumya. Sadly, Sumya doesn't have a Sonny Oono ;D Kiss Wilmington: In TNB she was the most hated woman in the locker room, she was a spoiled brat with no wrestling skills who used wrestling to rise her modelling career, she was based in JBL/Beverly Brothers/Ted DiBiase. She was a rich girl, spoiled and with a manservant who took nearly all blows Kiss was supposed to receive. Now in XWA I turned her face. And with her face turn Kiss is pretty much inspired in the "It" girls such as Mischa Barton and Paris Hilton, she's a party girl ;D Unfortunately so much party, modelling, smoking, drinking, makes Kiss' win/lose ratio be much less than stelar. But Kiss doesn't really care about that and she's always willing to try again and put her two cents in the ring ;D The Dixons: Well they aren't the Fierharts but this family sure knows how to make an impact ;D The Dixons are just another wrestling family like there have been, you had The Fullers and The Von Erichs. Originally Ash was the first Dixon I made, he was a serious, competent wrestler. But then I decided to give him a brother. Chet, he wasn't the jobber he is now, Chet was a monster heel, a tall Dixon who obeyed orders, but then I thought to turn him face and team him with Norman Smiley in TNB. Seeing a 6'11" guy screaming like a girl whenever he was threatened by a wrestler is hilarious ;D Nevertheless Chet became one of the most popular guys in TNB, despite his very poor win/lose ratio he won the Hardcore and Tag Team titles. Christina was another story, she was yours typical cocky heel when she started in TNB, but then inspiration knocked at my door and after seeing one promo where they called Christina "lesbian" because she basically insulted the breasts of her rivals, I asked myself "And why not?" So Christina aged 17 in TNB outed by kissing one of her opponents and eventually winning the match. At first Christina was an evil lesbian, she stalked her opponents freaking them out and insulting them in the mic. Unfortunately her strategy didn't worked with Angel Storm Who wasn't dazed by Christina's promiscousness, so Christina turned face and became the longest reigning TNB Women's Champ, during that period Christina swinged from face to heel. In XWA Christina debuted as the cocky heel she was back in the TNB days, but then her character evolved more, she felt treated like a pushover and saw that Ashley Diamond was making her look like a weakling, such things couldn't be tolerated by her So they started their rivalry and finally Christina shown respect for Ashley. Wanting to avoid her character be the typical "Hey I am lesbian, feud with me" Enter Sarah Dixon Sarah Dixon, arrogant, callous, self-centered, manipulating, mean, cocky, disrespectful, etc... Sarah is a girl who thinks everything should be given to her for being the youngest Diamond in XWA, she has a huge rivalry with Christina, but neverhteless she teams with her sister as she aknowledges her experience. Unfortunately they haven't had any success due to Sarah always getting pinned for the mistakes she makes in the ring. But the self-proclaimed Brand New Hope always blames her sister for it. Los Luchasticos: As a WCW fan I am, I always enjoyed seeing the Luchadores in action, they rarely won, but were always fun to watch, La Parka, El Dandy, Silver King, Los Villanos etc... I decided to make my own Luchadores and therefore Los Luchasticos were born, they are inspired in the short-lived team of Silver King and El Dandy dubbed Los Fabulosos. Shirley Tyronne: A female version of Sylvester Terkay whom I loved the gimmick he had in WWE. A silent bully, Shirley never says too much, but she always loves to pick up fights with people. Her MMA career and her mammoth-ish appeareance always makes her be respected in the MMA circles, but not so much in the wrestling circles Leslie Lane: Based in Disco Inferno/Jamie Noble. A girl who believes herself to be smarter than anybody else, and that is relentless to swindle, cheat or lie to get what she wants, but Leslie isn't a remorseless assasin, she's most a cheeky wise girl who likes money. Space Invaders: Complete rip-off of Shawn Stasiak's Planet Stasiak gimmick, since I am a fan of the bad sci-fi movies I decided to give the Space Invaders the gimmick of being Invasors from outer space, unfortunatelly their ignorance of Earth costumes along that they look rather funny than scary, doesn't make them be a serious threat Their masks are inspired in one of my favourite videogames of all time, Space Invaders. Kristin Hager: A female Charlie Brown you can call her. Kristin is an adorable loser, also that she isn't really smart, makes her even more lovable. Kristin is a respectful girl who never ceases to try success in wrestling. So far she hasn't been successful but time will say. Jobbers 4 Life! ;D Emil Edwards: Blatant rip-off of Simon Dean, a character I always found funny and entertaining. Sylvester: He's not based in gay gimmicks but more in gay singers. Syl shares mannerisms and looks with popular (now deceased) 70/80s Disco singer Sylvester James. Nevertheless Syl is this kind of gays who are liked by the crowd much like Rico. And that's it, all my characters and their inspirations ;D

Post by jasta on Jan 1, 2008 13:56:08 GMT -5
I totally forgot about this thread. It's a New Year, may as well post in it now: ;D
Bryan Jasta: My 1st Efed character/CAW. 3 years ago there existed and upstart sim-fed called Syndrome Wrestling Alliance (SWA). This was the place I debuted Bryan Jasta. His overaul gimmick at 1st was based on a hybrid of ECW Lance Storm and Taz. (Notice the spelling...) He was basically a shooter. No frills, no nonsense. Initially he was a tweener, but when I won my 1st title in SWA, I opted to make a Heel change, and he's been Heel ever since. After a good year, I started hearing about other sim based feds, such as VWE, TNB and LXW (This was now 2006) One character caught my eye out of all the characters I saw. Chris Lionheart. As a heel he came up with some brilliant stuff, and he was a classic shooter. So for the late SWA Jasta I patterned him a little off Lionheart and his "Take No Prisoners" attitude. Of course by the end of 2006 SWA folded due to it being poorly ran, and Jasta was without a home. Midway through 2006, I'd started communicating with Kaoz while he was still part of LXW, and came within an earshot of bringing Jasta in to join forces with Primo, but obviously those who know, know that he was unceremoniously ousted from LXW, hence I never joined. So me and Nimrod (Devlin & Slede's Handler) who were still in contact as we did alot of work together in SWA were relegated to doing the online thing for a few months, up until I learned of APW. I decided to join, and tried to convince Nims to follow, but he wasn't feeling the vibe of the place. So I switched uo Jasta gimmick a little bit, lightened his hair to a sandy blond and coined the nick name "The Next Level" as a symbol of him taking his game to "The Next Level". The fact that Kaoz was in APW as well aided in my decision to join, but then politics as usual reared it's ugly head, and when Kaoz decided to leave following the removal of 3x, I followed.
I shaved his head, gave him more facial and went back to his roots. The Shooter. Of course when I joined XWA, this was around the time 300 was in theaters. And of COURSE the coolest character in the movie was King Leonidas. And seeing that Jasta's heritage was Greek, it kinda fit. So I decided to rework his back story a bit for the 2 or so months in between APW and XWA and called him "The Spartan". Eventually I began patterning his persona similar to Leonidas as a "What if Leonidas was an eveil son of a bitch" gimmick. And eventually, I started playing with his morphing to make him LOOK more like Gerrard Butler. This leads to the present day 2008 version. While he still retains many of his distinct facial features, his look is now COMPLETELY based on Leonidas, down to the Ponytail and facial hair. Going back to his SWA "Taz" style, He also now comes to the ring with a ragged black towel draped over his head.
Jared Chase(Retired): The initial character I brought into XWA. Chase was the second character I used in SWA. He was loosely based on Steven Corino in his gimmick. Your classic wrestling face. In SWA he had a near 4 month war with Nims' Nigel Sledge which lasted until the end of the feds existence. At 1st I had no idea Nims was already IN XWA as Adam Devlin, it wasn't until he decided to bring Nigel here that I found out it was my old buddy Nims. Any way, Though he was a solid character, Jared was prone to getting his ass kicked...A LOT. Even in SWA on SVR06 Jared would get man handled in matches. I think this lent itself well to his believability as a character, and he'd get the better of Nigel. At the last show of SWA, the had a table match for the SWA World Title, of which we both mentioned often IC that it ended with Nigel putting Jared through a table. Fast forward to XWA. Jared despite my best efforts to tweak him was still flawed, as evident by his win loss record. For the 1st half of the season he won 2 matches...out of 9. So after the half way point I decided to write him out of wrestling, in which was the attack on him, Devlin and Evan Fate following Only The Strong in Europe. I doubt I'll be bringing him back.
Brian Yang: Basically, the character is me. I'm a wrestler in real life (Independent of course) and the the character Brian Yang is basically MY real life gimmick transformed into a fictional game character. My actual character name is Brian "The Yin" Kang, but here he's Brian "The Dragon" Yang. The Dragon uses my actual name and I basically role play him as I would portray my real life gimmick. They share no relation IC however. No continuity in character aside from they're both me. While the 2007 version wore the EXACT same attire I wear in real life (One of these days I need to get pics...) with the two toned tights with the Yin Yang symbol in the center on front and back, the 2008 version wears an attire inspired by it, this time black with green and white trim, with the Yin Yang only on the back, with two Dragons coming out of both sides. I'm gonna get on my girlfriend (Who's studying to be a fashion designer AND designs my gear) to recreate Yang's tights to wear as Kang. Fiction becomes reality. ;D
The Bruzas: Super Punch Out on SNES. The final two bosses you faced where named "The Bruisers", Nic and a Ric. Combine there basic premise with The Brusiers Brothers of ECW, and you've got The Bruzas. Two twin bulls who are smash mouth, in your face powerhouses. For 2008, I'm giving them a more Bruiser Brother look with scruffy facial hair and and long hair. (the one that covers the face so that you REALLY can't tell which one is which) I made them in early 2007 because I wanted a true to form Tag Team, and when I saw XWA was needing a tag team jolt, but missing that big man team, bringing them in was a no brainer.

Nick has been made since SD! JBI. Nick wasn't originally named Nick Jones. He has gone through various names such as American Killer which he wore american clothes with a cross out of the american flag. Next came Below Zero. He was known as a lunatic from a wacked out family. Finally he became Nick Jones in Sd vs Raw 06.

Nigel Sledge: A character that's endured a hell of alot of stuff in the last 5 years. I originally made him based on a character from the PSone game Vigalante 8 named Sid Burn, the games main antagonist. He was basically a British psycho Pyromaniac, which I thought would make one hell of a wrestling gimmick, hence the original Nigel Sledge was born. His look was based pretty much off Sid Burn, a black open shirt, black jeans and boots, slicked back black hair and the typical "villain" looking facial hair. So in 2004 I stumbled across SWA, which at the time was just getting off the ground. I decided that I wanted to role play Nigel there just for kicks, and the character and caw just killed. SWA lasted about 3 years, and all 3 Nigel was one of the top dogs. One of the three top heels of the fed, and easily the most battiest son of a bitch in SWA. In 2005 I incorperated a new look for Nigel based on SSX's Simon Stark and Moby Jones, while still keeping the Sid Burn feel to him. I also ended up creating him a "sidekick" named Minney, who was basically comic relief. A small, rinky dink chump who was basically fodder for anyone. So as SWA began to come to it's end, Nigel was feuding with Jared Chase, and in the feud, Minney ended up getting his neck broken by one of SWA's other top dogs, and Nigel and Jared's feud ended in a table match. I brought Nigel into XWA to help with a storyline, and essentially decided to keep him around. His 2008 look isn't much different from his 07 look, aside from a change in hairstyle and the return of his old facial hair.
Adam Devlin: Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out Adam's inspiration. Steve Drake, AKA Daredevil. I based his overall persona of Drake, being the strong willed, honorable good guy, a stretch from the guerrilla that Nigel is. I created him specifically to be part of XWA back in February, and he's pretty much grown with XWA.

Loki is inspired by the Marvel Comics character of the same name from Thor lookwise. Attitude, he is based on a mix of "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiasi and Hunter Hearst Helmsley back when he debuted.

the personality of mine is a bit of the rock and goldberg put together, big shit talker and puts together complex jokes in a heartbeat and the goldberg in him comes out in strength and speed and the agression in matches, but outside the ring he's a jokester, in the ring he's no joke
the appearance is just a creation of my own I didn't really base him off anyone, he's just your average hardcore creole guy oozing charisma with his fashion sense and style.... you'll see him when I get the avatar or if you go look in the 2008 CAW Registrations.
