Making A Mark (X-Gen)

*The crowd is still buzzing with excitement as the new XWA continues after a commercial break*

*After a few moments "Impossible" by Manafest plays throughout the arena, some of crowd cheers while the rest wait patiently for who ever it is to come out, It doesn't take too long for Mark Reckless to appear on the stage*

Roach: Hey look, it's Mark Reckless.

BuZZ: Mark who? Isn't that the same kid who bailed out of here before the last season ended? What is he doing back?

Roach: I'm pretty sure he has a good explanation about why he left when he did, cut the kid some slack.

BuZZ: Whatever. He is going to have to show me something before he gets any type of slack from me.

*Mark is dressed to compete as he slaps fives with the fans playfully along the ramp-way, before entering the ring Mark grabs a microphone that was left for him on the top of the steel steps, he waits for his music to fade and for the crowd to quiet down before speaking*

Hey look everybody, I made the season premiere.[/b]

BuZZ: Oh my god. Is he serious?

Roach: Shhh. I'm trying to listen.

Now I know I've been flaky the last time I was here, if memory serves me right I believe I've only had two matches. I had what you would call "prior engagements", I had tons of other matters to attend to the last time I was here. I couldn't keep up with the XWA...so yeah, I left I admit that, but I plan on changing that this time around.

*The crowd cheers at Mark's last statement*

Roach: See? I told you he had a reason.

BuZZ: I'm still not convinced, that explanation was way too vague.

Roach: *Sigh*

Now lets get to the specifics of my first goal in XWA. Attempting to focus on multiple duties you tend to track of what you're givin'. The XWA has a band of competitors who are willing to sacrifice life and limb just of the fans' entertainment, I mean these guys are the best of what hardcore and high-flying wrestling has to offer, I'm talking about the X-Gen division. To be able to do what these guys do you have to be crazy, fierce, bold, and well...reckless. So I am officially throwing my hat into the X-Gen division.[/b]

*The crowd explodes in cheers for Mark's decision to compete in the most popular division in XWA*

Roach: Wow. Is that convincing enough for you BuZZ?

BuZZ: Nope. He has to prove his worth in the division first.

So to kick things off I'm challenging anyone in the X-Gen division to a match here tonight! Let's go, who's it gonna be?

*The crowd continues to cheer as they wait for Mark's opponent*

A few seconds go by, and the familiar sounds of Tego Calderon's Wasa Wasa fills the arena. The crowd comes to it's feet as the one and only "Puerto Rock" Pablo Reyes bursts onto the stage. The firey latin superstar plays up the crowd a bit before raising his mic to speak.

Yo, yo, yo, yo, yoooooooooooo...let me speak on this, mi rasa...


QUE PASA NUUUUUUUEEEEEEEEEEEVAAAAAAAAAAAAAA YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRK!!!

The fans cheer en mass as Pablo continues to hype everyone up.

Yo, Mark. Sup, killa? So you wanna get back into the swing of things, eh pa? You wanna start off strong in tha' 09, X-Gen Style. Well, how about you put ya'self to the test against a two time X-Gen Champ, eh fam? Start ya'self out against one of the best, to see if you're not just one of the rest. I got nothin' against you, my man. But you see, I'm lookin' to get back what's mines. That X-Gen Title. It's like Potato Chips, once you've tasted it once, you can't get enough. And I've had it twice already. So here's how I see things. You and me, in that ring. You want it?

Come GET it.

And just like that, the challenge was accepted. Pablo waits for Mark's reaction.

Sorry to knock up the fies-tah!

Roach: All maaaaaan. What happend to Overload!?

The camera swings over to MG violently trying to find him. He held his trust self carved bat with him. Well he had two one painted red and one he gave to Sushi to handle business. He was behind the barrier coming out his basement area with thick smoke coming out he was coughing in between his words.

Yo, I feel like bashing something.......


And that something is ya heads. With this bat or maybe with with my knees. S*** I can do it with my hands!!

Oh shut the f*** up. If you asking......... hell yeah I'm high. I was toking all day. Hit'n that Sowa Diesaaaaaaal! Awwwwoooooo!!!

Buzz: Man this guy is baked like cheatos

Roach: That's it I'm calling security!!

All the stoners in New Jersey was cheering.

That's all I hit now a days. *MG goes to the nearest crowd member with a cirget and snatches a his beer before he can drink it* Give me that, now how you supposed to get home son s******. I'm about tah

All of a sudden security grabs him up and pulls him backstage to not a particapate in the match because of his un-soberity.

You get the f*** off man. You what the hell *MG swings and jumps over the barrier into the ring* Don't chase me man. Don't chase me bro. Ahhhh!!! *The security chases him around the ring like a wild animal untill he grabs a mic* What ya doing man!!! It's called a gimick!! *The security backs off*

Roach: Ow he's such a lier

MG looks at Pablo and whispers.

The funny thing is I'm high.

MG laughs and goes back to promo mode

Now back to scheduled programing. MG wants in and that's what I want to have. That's in. Now put me in!

After joining the rest of the arena in the chuckle as result to MG's antics, Pablo raises his mic for a response.

You want in? You're joking, right? I think XWA has a blood alcohol "slash" weed limit for competitors to wrestle. Look at you, my man? You're more twisted the a Coney Island Pretzel. You can barely freakin' stand much less get in the ring and not be either me or Mark's speed bag. But ya' know what, I'm all about bein' entertained. And I could use a good laugh. And sho'nuff everyone will get a laugh at you stumbling around the ring, high and drunk off your ass trying to actually compete. And hey, at least you'll have a legit excuse for when you get ya' wig pulled back by one of us.

Pablo continues to chuckle a bit as he waits for the reply.

MG all of a sudden fell to the ground.

Oh I fell

Roach:Freaking idiot

He starts to laugh. Then stands out uncontrolably.

Man I'm not drunk I'm just hizzzah!!! Man I can still fight *swinging at the air furiously* See see. I can still swing a hands and *does a roundhouse kick but falls on the ground after* Yeah I can do it all!

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight...

Pablo shakes his head, still giggling a bit before looking in the direction of Reckless.

Yo Mark, It's your call, fam. I'm all for ya' man MG bein' in, even if he isn't all the way "here", if ya' get what I'm sayin'.

*Mark observes both of his possible opponents with Pablo looking ready to compete while MG looking ready to pass out, after a few seconds of observing Mark smiles and prepares to make his response*

Well look at this, two for the price of one. We got a two time X-Gen champ and uhh.....MG, who is not himself at the moment...no wait, he's probably EXACTLY himself right now. You should really lay off the drugs MG it could really mess you up, I never touch the stuff and it turned out good for me. As for this match, I'm game, this would be a great way for me to kick off the 09 season.

*The crowd cheers at Mark's response, Mark then lowers his mic as he waits for any final words by his two opponents*

Pablo offers up his final reply.

Looks like we got ourselves a dance then fellas. A lil Meringue, a lil Bachata...but best believe it's gonna be Puerto ROCKIN' in the Nassau Coliseum. Palabra.

Pablo gives a look of confidence to the fans before heading backstage for what was sure to be an interesting contest.
