Manor was pacing outside the arena. He had just gotten a letter from his agent. The same agent that conned him into signing a contract preventing Manor from finding a new agent as long as Manor wrestled. He was outside in his usual street clothes. A black button-up t-shirt and blue jeans. He also wore a Chevy hat backwards as he went over the piece of paper again.
After going over the paper again he sat down on the ground cross-legged to think about this paper. He didn't care if anyone found it particularly odd that he just sat down on the ground after the show was over with.

The XWA stars who were in attendance to watch XGAMES2 exited from a different area of the arena from the fans...unless they wanted to do some autographs of course. That's what XXL was doing after the show came to a close. Even if he couldn't have made a second XGAMES appearance in the ring, he was still all about showing up for the fans.
So as he continued to sign for the people, he looked out the corner of his eye and saw in the distance some guy who was sitting on the asphalt.
That's a little weird, isn't it?
He temporarily excused himself from his autograph session to walk over to the man.
Hey...you alright, man?

Manor looks at the man who had approached him and then at the sheet of paper in his hand.
Not a bit. My agent is worse than the FCC. I mean seriously. Making me watch what I say or do? I mean come on.
Manor stands up and brushes his pants off a bit.
Tell you something. In this business, an agent can affect your career more than anyone else. Especially if they con you into signing a contract that you normally wouldn't. Gonna have to start from scratch all over now with hardly any fans when the season rolls around.
Manor crumpled up the piece of paper and stuffed it in his pocket.
By the way. I'm Scott Manor. Xander right?

XXL nodded to confirm. This man's name did sound a bit familiar, but he couldn't quite confirm himself...
Scott Manor...that name is ringing a bell, but I can't put a finger on it. Sounds like you wrestle, right? I mean...talking about agents and such, you're in something athletic.

Yeah I wrestle. Signed on for next season here. Wrestled a couple other places and here soon after it opened up at one time. Now though I'm regretting my decision to sign back up. Got a list of things I'm no longer allowed to do or say on TV. Damn agent. Only thing an agent is good for is screwing you in the ass when you least expect it and conning you into bad contracts.
Yeah Manor's not happy with his agent and probably won't be for a while.

Then why don't you breach the contract? You don't have to do what they say...but at the same time that's probably gonna mean you won't be around here come season 3. That's all up to you.
XXL folds his arms over his chest. There was some obvious frustration coming from this guy...but business is business.
I'll tell you one thing, the powers that be do have a knack for weeding out people who have a problem with things. There's a way that business gets done here that a lot of people aren't used or aren't "happy" with. They don't usually last too long.
You can always back out if you don't think you can play the game by the rules. Complaining about it isn't gonna do you much good, and sitting out here like a homeless guy doesn't help either. Just my advice.

Oh don't worry. I planned on playing by my agent's rules. I'm stuck in a contract with him. Just he won't necessarily like how I play. My problem is what he may try to pull next.
Manor pulls out the sheet of paper and flattens it out using his leg to help before reading it off.
I can't say or do anything that relates to sexual things on TV. I can't talk about steroids at all in any way shape or form. I can't even touch a beer of any kind no matter the quantity on TV. Nor can I smoke. THe list just goes on and on. And there may be more added to it. To say my fans will be disappointed is an understatement. They don't watch me because I'm role model of the year.

Didn't you say earlier that you've got hardly any fans? That's how it was going to be in either case, Scott. Whether you're new or coming back, you start from scratch either way.
About all that you're not allowed to say or do...not for nothing but I don't really see how that could be entertaining anyway. Or how it wouldn't make you look like a Jonny Punch wannabe. Lord knows we only need one of him. 
He starts to look at Manor not really knowing what else to say to cheer him up.
I'm sure you're a pro at this if you've been in other places. Maybe next time you oughtta read the fine print before you sign the dotted line. It doesn't sound all that bad to me, but then again...being low-brow isn't my style, no offense.

Ok if he wasn't pissed before he was now.
Tell me exactly how is it that the one who's been in the game longer is the wannabe? I've been firing off at the mouth however and on whatever I wanted before XWA. Sure I wasn't as vulgar as Punch, but I didn't have to be and that's not the point.
Besides I said I wasn't gonna have many fans now. All my old fans watch me to watch me be a smartass and embarrass whomever I'm talking about. Now I have to act like some goody goody moron with a stick shoved up his ass?
But back onto Punch. My stuff would make his stuff look like a joke. And why? Cause I didn't need to drink beer and I didn't need to swear. Now a days it's more of a contest of who can swear more and who's got the bigger muscles. All rawr look me at me I can roar like a dinosaur. Or look at me I can punch ain't I special. Or better yet. I can bend your neck backwards cause I'm oh so talented.
No more, hey this is what I think of you straight to the point no beating around the bush or saying more than you need to. No more saying exactly what you thought without being attacked by a guy and all his friends.
Manor stops his ranting and raving for a bit taking a couple deep breaths.
Man I sound old. But I feel better. As long as we understand out of decency, you never call me a Punch wannabe and I won't call you and a muscle head with no brains. And for the record at first sight I did think that. Anyway. Deal?
Manor sticks his hand out for a handshake calmed down a bit from before. Sometimes a person just needs a little ranting and raving.

XXL just shook his head. To think there was the chance that he could actually have talked to brick wall. Impossible.
I could have thunk up about a thousand snappy comebacks to that one, but like I said, I'm above the low-brow...and I'm not about to stand here and argue like a school kid. You take whatever you want out of what I said and do whatever you've got to do...and we'll see if you're here still by XG3.
Suddenly, Brandon Payne showed up, just as XXL was about to take his leave.
Good match tonight, Brandon. You and me are going to have to get it on again sometime.

Manor turns to MG blowing off Brandon after what happened between the two of them earlier. Waking up in a locker isn't fun at all afterall.
Manic? That's clever. Really I mean that. I mean have you ever considered becoming a comedian? I'm sure you would be great at it. I mean you should really consider it. I'd watch it every day myself. I mean I'm sure at some point gonna hear nothing but beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep when I talk just because there's more potential out of being a good role model than being myself.
A bit of jealousy can be heard in his voice as he talks about his potential future.
