*Takes Place Backstage after X-Games II goes off the air*
As the wrestlers begin to make there way out of the arena. Brandon Payne is one of the last to leave. Dressed in his usual casual attire. Consisting of baggy jeans, timberland boots, and a red Nike t-shirt. Payne picks up his big with his wrestling gear inside. Walks out of his locker room, shutting the door behind him.
As he turns to make his way down the hallway. He spots a familiar face off into the distant. He stops in his tracks and utters:
Nah... it can't be ? Could it be 'him' !? I really need to get my eyes examined.. I think I'm starting to see things. |

The man lets out a chuckle.
So tell me not kissing the fans' ass. Does this mean you're not gonna kiss the staff's ass too? I mean you do seem to do that oh so well.
The smirk there that Brandon should know so well and same with the attitude.
Don't tell me you forgot the person who despite how many times you kicked his ass, was ahead of you career wise.

Meh I could probably do better, but why waste the good stuff on you as opposed to the people worse than you.
And meh can't say I've done much. Been taking it easy for a bit.
Manor gets off the wall he happened to be leaning on.
As to why I'm here. Figured I'd play a game and see how many used needles I find and maybe if I'm really mega bored how many used condoms are laying around the diamond's lockerooms.
I just thought maybe you'd want to tag along since you know you've become such a wuss. But if you're too afraid of getting caught causing trouble I guess I understand. I mean not everyone has the nerve to truly look anyone in the eye and tell them to shove it.
Manor turns his back to Brandon like he's gonna leave, but waits to see if Brandon falls for it or if Manor will have to come up with something else.

Payne reluctantly follows Manor. Not knowing what he is getting himself into, or what Manor could have planned.

You don't have to follow me. And for an "elite" as you say you sure haven't done well for yourself. I mean you've been here how long and still haven't won it's big title? I mean seriously I bet you fantasize about Ashely Diamond all the time.

And... for your information. I've got more important things to worry about then to spend all day 'fantasizing' about the Diamonds. Like ya know, my career. Where I'm headed in XWA. Who I'm going to face next ? etc, etc, etc.

So I figured I'd have something else to hang over you, by reminding you how things used to be done between us. But now I wonder if you can even keep up. So... lemme get this straight. Your here because of me ? You come back to XWA just to show you me how I 'used to be' in the old days ? What are you now, the ghost of Christmas Past or something ? Cause I'm not a Scrooge. And number two, I'm very satisfied with the way I've turned out, thank you very much.
The reason I changed over the years because doing things the old way.. the rebel's way of doing things... got me no where. Other then getting fired from other organizations. And I am NOT about to do that again.
Payne just shrugs his shoulders.
The nerve of you to call me a poodle.. *hmph*. Here I thought you came back to thank me for making you into a star. Because without me, you'd still be a bottom feeder. |
