Pretty well actually Romeo, even with the uninvited attention.
Now, Mari started on her drink too.
Not like we weren't expecting it of course. What do you go to a club to do? See and be seen of course! Maybe drink or dance away all the worries...if only for a few hours of freedom from them.
I like this place though. It's not like South Beach, but it's nice.

"Wild Thing" James Bowen walked into the club. When he saw Romeo and MG try to work their magic with Jamie and Marisol, James smiled as he thought to himself...
James: They'll learn.
James then walked over to the other side of the bar.
James: Hey bartender, give me a Michelob Light.
Bartender: You got it, James.
James sat back and enjoyed the atmosphere.

Another try MG? That would mean I'd haven given you a try in the first place, and that's not going to happen. Not tonight, not any night! I'm acting "uptight" because you think I'm supposed to just rub up on you just because you ask for it...and you didn't even ask for it! Guys like you just don't get it do you? And you wonder why you end up leaving the club with your boys and not with a girl, huh? Get a freakin' clue! No means no...they taught you that in school right?No budging this brickhouse.

James whispered to the bartender that he wanted to pay for Jamie and Marisol's drinks. The Bartender obliged, as James slipped the money, as he was watching the Diamond Dominator call out MG. James thought to himself...

Yeah, I am also havin’ a good night. I needed this time off. We all do actually. We’ve been workin’ hard and now it’s time to relax and have a good time. That’s why I came here tonight. Meeting up with you two is a bonus. So, tell me ‘bout the clubs in South Beach.

Oh, you've just got to go there, especially in the summertime. There's parties all night! The music, the people, wow...it's like one of the best places to be. I used to practically live there back before I got into wrestling seriously.
LA is a big party town too, but I don't think anywhere beats South Beach...
As she continued to converse with Romeo, she was looking out the corner of her eye. On one side, a waiter was coming over with two more martinis and on the other was Jamie and MG. She thought to herself...
She's being way too nice. I would already have kicked him in the balls.

South Beach sounded intriguing to Romeo. He had to go there at some point to experience what Marisol was speaking about.
Well it sounds to me like a great place to be. We do have two months off so I may go down there at some point and check it out.
MG then left the scene. Romeo looked over at Jamie.
Good work Jamie. I thought that he’d never leave. At some points he just gets kinda annoyin’.
Romeo then addressed the both of them.
Well we are at the club, do any of y’all wanna dance?

Jamie, being what they call on the streets a "grown ass woman", was not about to let one display of annoying immaturity followed by a guilt trip ruin her night. If it really was a learning experience, the let it be a hard lesson learned about how to and how not to make your approach to a woman...as if Romeo hadn't already demonstrated that himself. Again, she shook her head and sipped her martini, only to notice that a waiter had reached their table with two more.
"For the ladies, compliments of the gentlemen at the end of the bar."
Really?
She looked in the direction the waiter pointed, and there sat that rock & roll guy who was hurt for most of the season. What was his name again? She would have to find out. It's only courteous, since he did buy them drinks (always a fine "how do you do" when you're too scared to say it with your lips).
Excuse me you two. I'll be right back.
Jamie grabbed both her martinis now (twins!) and maneuvered back to the bar. Convenient there was an open stool right by him. She took a seat and finished off martini #1.

Jamie went on and left them alone right after Romeo asked for a dance. Luckily she was in the mood to shake something.  With a smile Mari extended her hand towards Romeo to lead her to the dance floor.
Let's see what kind of moves you have outside of the ring then.

Oh, well if he's as tough as he says he is, then he'll bounce back and learn something from that. If he can take a chair shot from Jonny Punch, he can handle a little rejection.
She started on martini #2 now.
All it takes is a little kindness and good faith to get my attention. It worked for you didn't it James? I knew I heard that name somewhere. You got hurt and had to sit out the whole season, or most of it anyway. How's that holding up for you? |

Romeo held onto her hand and lead her to the dance floor. Romeo knew that Marisol was from a Latin family so he knew that she would be able to dance. Luckily Romeo was a good dancer. Once the two had found a spot on the dance floor they began to dance. Marisol was indeed a good dancer. Romeo was able to keep up with her. It was good that he was able to dance or else he would be embarrassed.
Dancin’ must be in your blood. You’re good.

James: Well, I just returned back in November; I had major reconstructive knee surgery, the price I paid for wrestling 10 years straight with no time off. I'm working on some new tricks at my dojo.
James looked at Romeo and Jamie's friend dancing on the dance floor, which gave him an idea.
James: Would you like to dance, Jamie?
