[Carmella Blackheart]

The second TakeDown of the month begins. The scene now shifts from Boston to Detroit. The Board of Directors were apprehensive even setting foot in the city where another promotion called home, but Carmella Blackheart was a shrewd businesswoman. The XWA was a WORLDWIDE operation, not just a New York operation and she was intent on proving that it could tread any ground it chooses to. Tonight was the shining example of this. The Joe Louis Arena was packed to the rafters and the set ablazed with it's introductory pyrotechnics. The TakeDown theme began to die down, and then "Paint It Black" began to pick up...signaling the arrival of Carmella Blackheart.

Instead of her stepping out to the ring though...it was a first in the XWA as every existing roster member walked down the aisle and began to surround the ring!

BuZZ: Whoa! Why didn't I get the memo of there being a meeting tonight!

Roach: I don't know...ladies and gentlemen the XWA en masse is surrounding the ring. We know that the President Carmella Blackheart is here, and just like last week...it looks as if she has some big plans or big news in store.

BuZZ: Look at this man, Payne, Styles, the champ Keith Wyle, and the Diamonds! Aimi is looking cute tonight...heck they all are! I'd even give that Michelle Marx some action if she asked nicely...

Roach: She wouldn't ASK.

BuZZ: True, but I wouldn't refuse either. ;D

Finally, Carmella steps out onto the stage as the music fades. In one hand she carries a microphone and rested on her shoulder is the now vacated National Championship. A few superstars part way to allow her to step into the ring.

Well, quite a week we've had here in the good 'ol XWA isn't it? Before I begin with anything, how is Detroit doing tonight?

The crowd responds accordingly...

I only thought it'd be customary to give our Michigan fans a taste of something different, so here we are. Tonight you all are going to see not just the continuation of the Tag Team Turmoil, but the final two Beat The Clock challenge matches to determine a #1 World Title contender at Solstice in LA. That brings me out here for the brass taxes, and it brings out each and every one of you Combatants and Diamonds as well.

The net is buzzing all over the subject, and I know that a few of you have been talking about it as well...the fact that this National Championship belt is now in Executive possession. Last week, the former champion Shia Storm decided that he was too special to abide by XWA Regulations, so he and his wife Angel Storm...well...let's just say they might be wrestling here in Detroit on a regular basis if you know what I mean. That boils down to basically the fact that this here National Championship has been officially vacated.

Now how are we going to alleviate this? The same way we did the last time a title was vacated...this time a little something I call SECONDSHOT. At Solstice in LA six men chose by me will fight to become the new National Championship, at it can be anyone....ANYONE who I choose, barring the result of the next event that is going to take place right here, right now.

BuZZ: What's she talking about?

Tonight is the time to put on your gamefaces ladies and gentlemen. Tonight you either put up or shut up. You get it on or you get out. Sure it's been done before, but there needs to be made something clear here. There is a level of order in this league and it is my duty to maintain that order. Anyone who doesn't abide by it will suffer consequences. I've already stripped one champion and released another because they stepped out of line, that means that NOBODY is exempt. I'm giving you an escape clause though. Right here and now. If there is ANYONE who has a problem with this company and how I run this company, all you need to do is leave this ring, walk up that aisle, pack your bags and leave.

I won't even pull that 30 Day No Contest clause that other feds do. You can drive over to Cobo, fly to Toronto or even head to Ohio for all I care. You're contract will be up and done, you're name struck from our record books as if you were never even here. That's exactly what's the fate of the two who are no longer here and it will yours as well if you take that walk.

Any takers? You don't have to say a damn thing...all you have to do is leave.

Roach: The President is pulling a Bischoff right now! Anyone who has a problem with the XWA can leave? Wow!

BuZZ: Makes sense to me. This is an awesome company, if anyone is crazy enough to not like it I say don't let them just walk...THROW THEM OUT!!!

Roach: Calm down man. The question now is...will somebody out here pull a Raven?

Standing off at a certain distance from the rest of the group, Alexandra playfully pouts at Carmella's words.

Oh, such a shame that my dear Angel has left us, Legion. I so enjoyed besting her last week...I was looking forward to doing it yet again.

Legion grins evil in retort.

There there my love, look around you. There are still many victims ripe for the picking here. One lost soul is meaningless to us when there is an abundance of them which remains...

*Genesis watches the announcement from backstage and just is in complete disgust as he & The Advocates (Synn & Killer Khan) watch. Genesis says to them*

Genesis - You know boys. I've been through this shit before in Toronto. And I'm now about to go through it again....If this is the way things are going to be here with the heads going power mad. Screw it then. I can go & play by the rules. However, I don't play politics...

Genesis turns off the monitor and motions for The Advocates to follow him out of the arena. Where the all 3 hop into a limo and speed off out of the parking lot.

XXL suddenly steps into the ring. Taking the liberty of speaking out he asks for a microphone...

Politics? You gotta be kidding me. I guess that dude was so much into listening to his damn self talk that he didn't pay attention to the details. Some great man that guy turned out to be. All you'll ever be known as is the "king of CRAP!"

Carmella, I think I can speak for most in saying that we are very grateful being here and showing what it is that we can do to fans around the world. Looking around this ring I see nothing but talent...but I also see people who understand what it is that is going on. Each member is important but then you have the one or two guys who think they are bigger than the establishment.

It's a give and take thing, and I for one am here to give my all, win or lose, feast or famine for this great company. Not trying to brown-nose or nothing but yeah...the guys who seem to have a problem are guys that don't matter. You need to work to make a name for yourself and those two...were making strides before they just went stupid.

Oh well, let them go find someplace else to work because the people you see here are all people who have and will continue to make the XWA remain at the top of heap!

What a week to make his return. Austin had just stepped through the XWA doors for the first time in nearly two months. He took in a breath of fresh air… he was indeed home. Harris, with bag over his shoulder walked over to a TV monitor where Carmella and XXL where standing in the ring. After hearing about the National Title up for grabs, he knew he could not disappoint in his return match this week.

Well, looks like I’m going to have to step up my game around here.


Harris then disappeared from the scene into the hallways of the arena.

Jess just stood in disbelief over all this transpiring in front of her, sure she used to people leaving but a number of them all at once plus genesis and his crew just now...was just wow...nudges one of her fellow nice diamonds in the sides

If you mean this National Title, it's not going to happen tonight...and those who will be in that match will be announced at a later date.

However, since you and your partner don't have opponents for the night, why don't you get youselves involved in the second TTT match? I can can confirm that III Threat and Class Act will both be a part of match #2 tonight...you can easily be team #3. Just think, you'll be one step closer to a possible shot at the XWATag Titles.. You want gold, that's your only option at this stage of the game.

To the ring steps Bryan Jasta. Dressed in a black suit, Jasta stands in the ring opposite Carmella & XXL. He motions for a mic, and upon being handed one, he speaks...

Well now. What and interesting turn of events. It appears that one man's ego has in turn forced a plethora of *ah hem* "Superstars" out of work. And given the obvious other choices of employment, they may as well do backyard shows. In essence it's the same thing as working for one of those other places...

The crowd is surprisingly supportive given the circumstances...

But I'm not out here to talk about the ego of one idiot. I'm here to talk about what said idiot left behind him. The XWA National Title. I WANT IT!!! I've beat men the likes of Blade Myers, Sylas Styles, Chris Lionheart and Adam Devlin in my time here. I've MORE then earned my shot at gold. Now, I already know of my selection in this SECONDSHOT at Solstice, and I will make it my BUISNESS to take that title, and do with it what BOTH those painted up peons failed to do, bring it prestige. That I can PROMISE you, Ms. Blackheart.

It seems as if Jasta's ideals were clear. Much rather then lament on the loss of hacky talent, his focus was on the task at hand, acquiring the National Title.

Very well then. You and you're partner have some preparations to make now then, I suggest that you get ready. Consider yourselves excused from this meeting.

Her attention then goes to that of Bryan Jasta.

As for you Mr. Jasta...there's no denying that you've done a lot since you came here to the XWA. You are one of the examples of what happens when you rolll with the punches. I might not be a fan of your methods or who it is that you're currently allied with, but your contributions here in the XWA are as signifcant as any I've seen and yes, I agree that you would be a strong candidate for the National Title.

However, as I said to DJT I'm not naming names quite yet. You will have to wait along with everyone else until the announcement is made, and that will take place later on tonight in this very program, so that I'm causing too much suspense.

Now does anyone else have anything to say?

Everyone's head had turned to see Testudo, who had acquired himself a microphone whilst Ms. Blackheart was speaking. Now, he wanted to say something.

"This "Tag Team Turmoil" you were on about earlier. Is it too late to add another team to the mix?"[/b]

Everyone in the audience was confused by this question. Has Testudo decided to enter the Tag Division? Did he even find someone to team up with? Who knows.

The Avenger's music hits and out walks the Avenger. He has a mic in hand and motions the music to stop.

Now let me get this right! The title has been stripped and you haven't placed the title around the waist it needs to be around? Now the Avenger was in the back watching all of the turmoil unfold as the redhead came out telling the roster what she was going to do. Well honey what you need to do is give that title who deserves it and that is the "anti-hero". That is the "hottest commodity." That is the Avenger. Now knowing how your refs do the fast counts and cost me that title then the Avenger may have to straighten out some business with them later. But don't beat around the bush and name the Avenger the new title holder. Or at least give me 5 other suckers to kick around. It'd be like old times! What do you say Blackheart?

The Avenger walks down the ramp and stops.

You see Camella you may be the one writing all of the checks but it is the Avenger that these people came to see. Ever since the hype of the Avenger grazing their presence the tickets have went up and the ratings have hit the roof. The Avenger had to put over scrubs like Kevin Rush and it is about time that the XWA give back to what the Avenger has given them. And that is blood, sweat, and tears. So do the right thing and hand over what belongs to me or the Avenger may have to destroy these so called "deserved" participants you keep teasing us about.

The Avenger spreads his arms and waits for a response from anyone.

We don't hand out anything to anyone here Avenger. The XWA has always bee a place where you earn your keep. Now, you tried once to win the National Title and just last week you fought for a second chance at that belt. Since you were the last true challenger for the title it would be a mistake not to include in this, so that it what I'm going to do right now.

BuZZ: Well...it looks as if we have our first name in the pot for SecondShot at Solstice. The "Hottest Commodity" Avenger.

You will be one of the chosen to face off for this title, that's a give...but the only way that you'll walk out of LA with it is if you earn it the old fashioned way.

Carmella's attention heads back to Testudo...

As for you, there might be a spot in another TTT match to take place tonight, depending on who it is that you're talking about making room for. Anyone in mind?
