Alright well this one is a simple question, but its one that I've sorta put plenty of thought behind. I was extremely proud of Kim when I first created her, and over the years I always have been, I first made her when I was introduced to efedding and since then she was always a force to be reckoned with. Until now, she's losing touch with what she once was, slipping into tragic consistant "the same as usual roleplaying, etc. I just can't stand to see the character I created and am incredibly proud of through these years end up this way.
I want to here everyone's comments so DO NOT JUST VOTE YES OR NO......I wanna hear WHY you think that, because this is an incredibly important issue to me and I not only wanna know what you think and why, but if you truly feel that she shouldn't then help me on ways to improve her........
Thanks guys and gals......

This goes hand and hand with Punchy's poll I think as far as the reason why you shouldn't scrap this character. Now I don't know anything of the of the character, but sometimes hitting a slump is a good way to build some needed depth. I recall once two years ago I had hit a slump with this guy here, as it's rather hard to pull off a guy who's original gimmick was an 80's style face, especially when at the time everyone was trying to be HHH. So I flipped it into Cody becoming disgruntled IC with how his career was going, and that eventually tided into a revamping of his image. I hate to see people scrap a decent character because of a small slump. All it'll take to get back on track is a little creativity, and the right kind of character to work with, which I think you have in Bull Nagano/Ina. It's an angle that I think has some legs if you play it out convincingly.

No offence, but if you retired Kim over losing, I would hate you as a handler. Sure, your prized caw gets it ass kicked. So? My prized caw has got it ass kicked since he debuted, yet I'm still ticking. Hell, I don't think his season record has EVER been positive. Closest was in 06 with a 6/6 record. You obviously don't suck at making caws, seeing as you are known to actually win matches, so you're obviously in a slump. Slumps pass. Either A) Attempt ot rebuild your moveset. Try and make a moveset that dominates the current Kim. B) Fight people you KNOW you can win against. Oz says this all the time, and I'm sure it works. C) It doesn't hurt to ASK your opponent if the match could be thrown in interest of storyline.
Don't retire Kim. You'll regret it, I'm sure. Proof? You've had a few secondary accounts, and you've replaced them, but you've never replaced Kim. I'm assuming because you're interested in her character.

Valid points by both of you guys, and yes your right Ryan, I've never replaced Kim and never would....but this thought really has nothing to do with my losing.....it just seems ahh it's hard to explain

I think you shouldn't retire Kim. Granted, I haven't followed the character since day one or anything. But, from what I have read from you here in XWA. All of your RP's seemed well thought out and executed wonderfully. In my opinion, it sounds like your getting burnt out with the character. Maybe you should drop Kim temporally for a few weeks or at a least a month to focus on your secondary character(s). That will give you some time to recharge your batteries and to come up with new idea's to use for Kimmy when you bring her back in.

I've been RPing him non-stop since when I dusted him off last year to use in APW, and only now is he "On Hiatus". Brandon hit it right on the nail. Sometimes the best thing you can do is put a character, namely one you're strapped for ideas with, to the side and focus on your other characters. As soon as you know it, you'll be back wanting to use your 1st guy (Or gal) in no time. It beats the hell out of just dropping a character, only to realize you made a mistake, not saying that I was thinking about dropping Jasta, that'll NEEEEEEEEEVER happen. But as far as Kim goes, maybe you should take a break from her and focus on Rachel for a bit. But if you do, you need to make that choice fast seeing as there's now only two months left in the season.

Maybe you guys are right, but maybe I'm just strapped for ideas right now and instead of dropping/putting her on break, I should look closer around for ideas, cuz I don't think much of a break'll help me with her.

I know how you feel sort of, with Alpha taking a break from Jessica I'm left to try and RP Stacie in a in a division where everyone else is in a feud and the thought of Dropping Stacie is always in the back of my mind.
I wouldn't drop Kim though if I were you, she has a good feud with Bull going. See where that goes first before thinking about dropping Kim.

So 2 votes with no response, that's okay, but I've decided on my own to work it out and not take Kim out
