I'm happy to say that thanks to an "outside contribution" from one of our most stand up members, I'm back in possession of a working PS2. However, I'm awaiting a new capture device, as my Video Xpress is no longer reading on my PC. It's to be shipped with 5 days, so hopefully I'll have it before the weekend. The bad news is that the new model PS2 I have doesn't seem to be compatible with our flash drive, so that means saves will still have to be sent to Thr33x until I can get a drive that works (If any drives work for the Silver PS2. If anyone knows of one, do share so I can look into getting one). So we're pretty much in good shape for the time being. Lets just hope we have no more snafus for the remaining 2 months.

Let's just hope....but I'll check my flash drive on the other PS2 in my house cuz its one of the newer silver ones, mine's the old big black beast, and if it works I'll let you know of the companies name.

I use the one that comes with the AR Max, and I have a slim black PS2.
Don't know if that'll help or not, but there it is for ya.

Ya I found that my AR Max flash drive works with my Codebreaker, but I personally use a Kingston SD/MMC flash drive......I'll see if the latter works because it holds much more than the first.....

It took 2 days longer then expected seeing as UPS doesn't deliver on weekends, but I'm now in possession of a Pinnacle Dazzle, and it's on and fully operational. It also has INCREDIBLY better video quality then my previous video device. My vid quality is on par with 3X's now, and I'll be able to sim matches at a higher vid output with better quality without it taking up as much memory on my PC. Needless to say XWA is back at full strength as far as the simming team goes, plus the addition of Kim as a simmer. We're pretty much going to bomb through the rest of the season now. No further delays following Solstice. ;D

This comes as so pretty damn good news. Can't wait to see what your new video resolution looks like. If it's anything like the rest of the simmers, that's some serious bonus points.

Just wait until you see the vid quality. I had to reduce it actually because my crap PC can't process video at higher outputs, so some of the matches might have slight moments where the screen warps for a milasecond before going back to normal. It's noticeable, but not so much that it ruins the matches I've completed. I corrected that problem and have perfect video quality and faster processing time now. So expect a shitload of new FPR vids, as well as a whole bunch of other projects.
