New York City. The XWA Athletic Facility. A state of the art, 55 Million dollar facility built by GGE to help XWA talent hone there in ring skill and attributes when away from "The Show". It's Friday morning, 7am on the dot. Andrew stands on one side of the training ring, his massive arms folded. On the other side, a still groggy Shane Camden and Alex Price. He had them up at the crack of dawn for day one of there "rehab".
Gentlemen. Welcome to the first day of my little boot camp. I said All I needed was one month to turn you guys from just a so-so team, into a well oiled fighting machine. And if there's one thing I don't do, it's go back on my word. Now I'm gonna be perfectly honest with the two of you, this is gonna be hard work. REAL hard work. You're bodies are gonna be sore, battered and bruised. But when July comes around, XWA will be looking at a whole new animal. One that may just very well grab the Tag Team division by the throat. So...first and foremost I think it's important that we start from the very beginning. The basics. Posture, conditioning, and most importantly technique. Something that I notice both of you don't really rely on. You natural talents are only going to get you so far. With out solid in ring technique, you're just wasting your energy. Technical skill isn't just about offense though, It's about defense. When you can anticipate what the other guy's gonna do, you're ahead of the curve. So that's where we begin.
Andrew cracks his knuckles, then his neck. He takes up a ready stance...
And there's no better way to see where you're at then hands on. Which one of you punks are first?
