For a while, there wasn;t a single place that you'd see Jon Payne without Kim Angelos nearby, but tonight was different. Tonight was a night of assessing exactly what it was that he wanted to accomplish in this company. Yes, it's been established that he was one of the best in the business, yes he had finally won championship gold if not for a few days before having to give it away...but there was something...missing.
He walked the streets, trying to clear his head from the hype and hoopla of the XWA in Japan, a place that he had called home for a long time, when his thoughts are suddenly broken by some random outburst from a distinguishably familiar voice.
Nah...that can't be...
He turns around...

Call it a hunch...you know I still can't get past the fact that just about everyone in this business worth their salt wants a piece of me for SOME reason or another. Figured you might still be on that list. Not like I'm the kinda guy to back down from anyone...but it'd be pretty strange seeing you come all the way here just for little old me.
Suddenly, Jon's eyebrow raises just a bit. It was a bit strange seeing him after all.
While we're on the subject...what the hell are you doing here anyway? Don't you have a job somewhere else nowadays? Heard you've been doing pretty damn good too.

The man waits for a moment, then steps forward into the light, revealing his face to be none other than Cabal Xavier. Cabal coughs, breaking the odd silence.
Since it's no secret that there is a bit of a grudge that I believe needs to be settled, hows about I propose a match between us. You against me, one time, to settle differences then this can be truely moved on from. After all, I'm sure that there will be plenty of bets on this fight, wouldn't you agree Jonny?[/b]
